Күн бұрын

In this full-length interview, Pat Porter, sister of legendary Harlem hustler Rich Porter, tells the real story of how she and her brother became a crime family. She describes what life in Harlem was like in the seventies and eighties before explaining how close she and Rich Porter were very close their younger brother Donnell. From there, she details when Rich started selling weed and how that evolved into moving heroin. She also touches on her mother's drug usage.
Moving along, Pat talks about Rich's growth in the drug game, which enabled him to purchase his first BMW at the age of 15. She also touches on her brother's close friendship with Azie Faison and how that led to her dating him later. As the Q&A session moves along, Pat discusses the brotherhood amongst Rich Porter, Azie Faison, and Alpo before revealing that each of the drug dealers had their own plugs. She goes in-depth about Azie's shooting and the death of his plug, Lulu.
As the interview nears a conclusion, Pat revisits the murders of both of her brothers, Rich and Donell. Lastly, she talks about the cult-classic film "Paid in Full" and what it was like to be on the production set of the project back in the 2000s before offering up an analysis of the main characters.

Yeah her PTSD is prevalent for real , she ain't hyped of all that crazy drug game pass ,but she understands it was what came with those times. The Government created the Drug Game to destroy lives and have people believe they was just doing it to themselves when they created the conditions for the big drug game of death. Drugs and Greed are a poisonous mixture.

The interviewer sounds like he has a pre-existing notion. He may believe the family was in poverty and that once Rich started selling drugs it would be the first time the family is seeing money and material things. I like that she specified that when Rich got the car it was not alarming because it was something normal to her and that when AZ would buy her things it was not shocking for her because she had a good father who also showered her with gifts. she didn't stereotype her family.

I have to give Vlad this one. He kept it more professional and respectful than I think I’ve ever seen him. And there isn’t many out there in the world that deserves that as much as this Queen. Ms. Pat~Thank you so much for sharing your and your family’s life with us when we as strangers have no right to it. You as a person and the way you communicate with such quiet Grace, and Class and Eloquence, even when or maybe ESPECIALLY when telling us the most horrific and tragic moments of your family’s lives-you have taken the paint off the gold bricks off the yellow brick road of the streets…you’ve taken the fictional sounding tale of the Legend of Rich Porter away from the Embellishers and put it back where it belongs-with the Porters. And the Legend can again be all you needed him to be-a son, a brother, and a young man with rare loyalty and huge generous heart for you guys. And perhaps most importantly, your voice has given your baby bro his voice and his name. ‘Rich Porter’s’ little bro was a PART of who he was/is. But Donnell Porter was also his own little man with his own dreams and interests and personality. And he so deserved to be here with you in more than Spirit. He sounded like such a cool little dude. Man! I’m so sorry. I do hope you find healing when you do share your life like this. I hope the good times fill you up and overtake the bad so you can laugh and smile and cry more happy tears than sad. Thank you for letting us get to know all of you the way that you have. You are such an inspiration. I would love to hear and see more of you in whatever way your passions call to you. I would watch, listen to, and or read anything you ever may decide to be a part of. Take care of yourself Ms. Pat. You’re such a beautiful soul.
