Fantastic video. I love seeing videos of hauntings in my home town. I have a bit of a sighting story about the Ghost in the Grosvenor Centre. Going back to before Beatties was there, there used to be an area called The Friars Kitchen. It had a little open seating area and they served food. When my mum was younger, she used to work in Habitat in the Grosvenor Centre. One evening after work she was walking past the Friars Kitchen toward the bus station to go home. As she passed, she thought she saw a cleaner tidying up in the Friars Kitchen area at the end of the evening. She then realised the figure she saw was cloaked, head bowed downwards and floating about 3ft off the ground. The figure stopped and turned to face her but by that point she ran to the bus station, terrified by what she had seen. She's 68 now and still remembers it vividly.

St. Paul, the Apostle wrote, "If man fails to praise God, even the rocks will cry out" Luke, chapter 19, verse 40. I have always been fascinated by that Scripture. I think you are right. Old buildings even the stones are affected by our energies.

Hi Richard have you done anything on the Isle of Wight yet because Knighton georges is really interesting it fascinates me about the house re appearing on New Year’s Eve and I have the original ghosts of the Isle of Wight book it says about it and music being heard from the site of the old house and gun fire as well and dogs barking. It’s amazing also thank you for the vids Ewan.

I have heard of Edge hill battle being seen in the sky, but not Naseby. People who survived the battle at Edge Hill, were seen in the sky, that's strange.

Clearly this video was done a few years previously, but one thing of note; when you enter one of the haunted rooms with the son; Mr khan's bedroom (at 7.59), you can note an area of obvious damp in the ceiling above the light switch that is closed off, indicating possible water leak/ingress from somewhere? Yes the engineer checked internally, but did he check the roof for perhaps a broken roof tile, water ingress from this dripping down into the loft space and into the ceiling and having a possible affect on the electrics...lights flashing on and off etc?? But the Hind looks a great place to go and stay for at least a day or two.

Good point. It is a great place to stay. Richard.

It was customary for a Knight to have his heart buried in a separate place to the rest of his body. I found this out when investigating my family tree and found a line that went back through to William the Conqueror. He is my 33rd Great Grandfather though I highly doubt any of his DNA has made it down to me. I think most British people have some link to the Royals somewhere along the line, it’s just difficult to link without a gateway ancestor. Henry V had 29 children and most Kings had illegitimate children. I am also descended from a Duke of Brittany, who descends from the Welsh Kings (Britons) that settled there. I think that might be a big reason why the “Normans” claimed the throne from the Anglo Saxons. I haven’t got to William the Conqueror’s ancestry yet, so I don’t know if he had Welsh ancestry, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

I thought the poltergeist leaflet in the shopping mall was in Derby. ?? Anyway, I worked in Grosvenor center. It does have a weird depressing air to it. Doesn't help that its had a few suicides off joining carpark.

Please help me to understand an incident in 1977 when I was 12. I was at Hampton Court with my family in a blue and gold bedroom inthe Stuart section . I was looking out of the first long windows a d saw a huge wing of the Palace that was totally empty, except for the open window right opposite me. A woman in a peacock blue and gold dress stared sadly . Our eyes met , she smiled and vanished! I said to Dad , look! But there was only this massive empty wing. What's that? Asked Dad of an old security guard . Oh, there're Anne Boleyn's apartments, we were told. I'm descended from her sister, can we visit the apartment? No, and no, no one goes there as they are Anne Boleyn's rooms!
@JaneEasterbrook-bn3ux5 күн бұрын
Sorry, pressed wrong button. We went home . Years later I discovered that Anne Boleyn's apartments have not existed since late 17th century! So in 2006 I went with my brother and his family ( our parents long dead), to Hampton Court and to that same room , same window and saw no massive empty wing, only apath to gardens and the indoor tennis building. So what do you think happened in 1977? And yes, I feel honoured to have seen Anne Boleyn!

Queen Elizabeth wasn’t behind the beheading of Mary Queen of Scots. That was William Cecil that devised that plan. However William was also responsible for James I of England (James VI of Scotland) being installed on the English throne. He was Mary’s Son. Everyone was out to have Queen Elizabeth killed (especially the Pope). It was a time of kill or be killed and tremendous power struggles. That doesn’t tend to result in nice people.
