In Saleh's 3+ seasons, he was 20-36 with a roster that's often described as having a lot of talent. 2021: 4-13 (last place) 2022: 7-10 (last place) 2023: 7-10 (3rd place) 2024: 2-3 What took so long to fire him?

It only has a lot of talent on defense of course. The offensive line couldn't start for Alabama.

@ji8044 Not to mention dude had like, what, 6 or 7 different starting QBs throughout his tenure, most of whom sucked on top of playing behind a garbage tier O-line?

The Saleh Jets improved over his first two years. Rodgers was the piece that was supposed to put them over the top but he was down for the season quickly so Saleh got a mulligan.

Idk why this is a shock, Saleh’s record was awful before Rodgers got there, and the defense this year isn’t as good as it was last year, and after his comments about Rodgers needing to change his cadence because it’s to hard and making the offensive players false start just showed that he doesn’t hold his players accountable for their mistakes and explains why the whole team gets so many penalties. If they’re smart they go after Bill Belichek this offseason if they wanna go defensive minded or go fro Ben Johnson from the Lions if they want to go for offensive minded coach

@ruslangarr3932 ай бұрын
Let me get this right. QB throws 3 INTs last game, one being a pick six. One being in the red zone. They lost by 6. To an undefeated football team. And they fired their HC - who had no input in QBs since becoming HC, didn’t have any input in who Rodgers surrounded himself with. Doesn’t call offensive plays (Hackett has been absolutely horrible, but he can’t fire Hackett due to closeness to Rodgers). And they fire their HC. What a complete joke of an organization. Rodgers legacy needs to be talked about.

No they don't. As soon as it came out that he didn't take the Vax, they turned on him like hyenas. Strange to me, because that seemed far away from the athletic side of their jobs as athletic journalists. Why would they care so much? Never much liked Rodgers as a Lions fan, but I always gave him credit for his press conferences. Compared to Stafford, who never said a single interesting thing, Rodgers tried to answer reporters' questions honestly and seriously. He didn't give the same old, "we're just having fun out there," and "we just rely on the coaches to put us in the best position to win." Not that we have to worry about Aaron Rodgers, whatever happens, he'll be fine.
