I'm from Merida, and it's true, we have one of the best cuisines in Mexico. So many dishes, from traditional mayan, to spanish, mestizo and lebanese. From papadzules and relleno negro to tortas de cochinita, lechón, mucbilpollo and more. We meridans love our food and are proud of it. Thanks for comming to Merida, Chef.

Hola Chef! mucho gracias for your videos. Some number of years ago I had squash blossom soup at a restaurant. It was so good. The 3 - 5 times that I got to return to Mexico over the years (not all in the same areas) I could not find it again - even when 2 or 3 of those trips would have been the right season.
