Man, Rick, there are many good podcasts, but - and this might be a blanket statement - your's is exceptional because of the animations, the constant bits, the intros, your commercials, your running gags and the family and everything. And seeing your family - it does all make sense now.

The standup edits are so perfect and such a fun new dimension to the show. God this pod stands out in a sea of people talking to people with a max of two cameras and an unchanging backdrop for two hours about pretty much nothing. It really reminds me of the Adam Buxton podcast but in video format. Same great mix of silly and real. Same sharp wit and crass humour. Same inclusion of music and editing. Thank you for putting so much effort in Ricky and contributors.

I live in LA. I've been going to Philippe's since I was a kid. The OG location is off Alameda, the other location is off Wilshire. BUT they did NOT invent the French dip... Legend has it that they stole the recipe from "Cole's" off 6th Street in DTLA. "Cole's French Dip" is one of the oldest establishments in Los Angeles and they used to be a speakeasy in the 1920s-their French dip sandwiches are also way better, made with fresher ingredients & served piping hot with French dip sauce, mustard, and a spicy pickle 😋 DELECTABLE. Philippe's is more well-known, but Cole's is the originator & the superior sandwich. Hands-down.
