Well I'll be damned. Your channel has made me re-think so many singers. I didn't know Ricki could be so engaging and impressive. It's like this is how she was always meant to be shown. The near-sighted Australian Idol producers and the shallow and fickle radio machine tried to market her as a pop princess without any substance and it always seemed off to me. When really, she's a natural performer who shines all on her own without all the added fluff. I always knew she had a surprisingly good voice but I've never seen it utilised like this. I also would much rather watch her natural hand movements and instinctive subtle dance moves rather than the choreography she displayed in the "You cant touch this" vid. I really enjoyed this.
