Your video came at a wonderful time after I had gotten very frustrated with another pattern. Thank you for posting something relatively simple, but interesting enough to give a pretty fabric! Your instructions were clear, concise and easy to follow.

Nice. Just saw a scarf done this way. Also this is quite similar to the wicker stitch. The only differences are the multiple of stitches castes on and on the wicker stitch you knit thru the back loops of both.

Fantastic! I would like a video on how you hold your yarn and work. Because with minimum movement the knitting goes faster i think and it's easier too. Any tutorial on that one would be very helpful.

Thank you for the very helpful video, best I have seen so far in demonstrating this pattern. I am attempting this pattern for my first knitting project and learning as I go! Do you know how many stitches I would need to make this 10 inches wide for a scarf? Thank you!
@iknitwithcatfur10 жыл бұрын
I'm afraid I can't tell you that. The weight of yarn will play a role in determining stitch count, as will how many stitches per inch you knit with that yarn. Since everyone knits at a different gauge, you will have to knit a gauge swatch with the yarn and needles you plan to use for the project and then calculate your stitch count based on that. Here is more info on gauge: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kIu3cn5_gM6Im8U. Good luck!

Hello, Do you think this stitch would be appropriate for a kitchen washcloth? I love that it is dual-sided and I think it might look cute; I just don't know if it would have too many holes. Maybe I could try smaller needles? Thank you!

Is there a way to ladder down when knitting rickrack rib?
@iknitwithcatfur4 ай бұрын
I am sure it could be done, but I have never successfully fixed mistakes that way. It is easiest for me to just work backwards until I reach my mistake, fix it and then continue. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIXCp5yjhN6ab9U

@iknitwithcatfur7 жыл бұрын
It depends on what size (kid, adult) you are making. You'd need to make a gauge swatch, and from that you can determine how many pattern repeats you will be able to fit in based on the size of the gloves.
