Ill be a buyer, but you guys need to stick around. Everytime Ive seen Buell / EBR pop back up, theyre gone just as fast. If you guys make it up the hill and I dont have to 😊worry about a 25k bike I cant get parts, Ill buy one.

I'm a 20+ year sports bike rider and want to switch over to something more comfortable so I went to KTM's Superduke 1290 and got a little comfort but a newly discovered love for big power vtwin engines, the lc8 is a gateway engine for me. I'm still in search of more comfort but not wanting to switch over to a full on cruiser and the Super Cruiser is just the right mix for me. I can't wait for my Super Cruiser!

Definitely a "craft" based approach but still looks like a real motorcycle absolutely. I would recommend opening up something in Alberta Canada and try and create some type of *"Alcan Highway Special"* as a pretty tough market to sell into but very much worth it if you do $$$$$$$s

Why don’t any of the custom builders use that engine in a cruiser type hot rod bike it’s available used all over the place.
@backroadbeetle47816 ай бұрын
the older Buell motors were super common to swap, but it's very difficult to package a water cooled motor into say an FXR chassis. Even with a cheap doner bike you'd be well into the $30k range while not being factory reliable. It's such a steal for mid $20s.
@ragingtyga6 ай бұрын
because Builders want a stripped down look... but to do that, you had to go with an Air cooled engine. But air cooled engines have limited power output because otherwise they over heat. Notice that this has a radiator in the front. Most custom builders hate that 🤷🏿♂️
@backroadbeetle47816 ай бұрын
@ragingtyga when I went to Daytona and there were tons of custom fabricators, and they've always wanted what the SC was. But just couldn't make it work. For another reason other than the radiator is where the intake manifold is. I'm still really wondering how they fit it under the tank, or in between. Packaging that motor is a whole lot of work.
@ragingtyga6 ай бұрын
@@backroadbeetle4781 right... the reason is because It's hard to get that stripped down "custom look" with a liquid cooled engine, and it's basically impossible to make a high performance bike using an Air cooled engine. You have to choose. The SC is nice, but it's not going to be as modifiable as a Traditional Harley, and I hope people understand that. You're buying this bike for the most part to keep AS IS. Maybe some bags, or different qtr fairing... but you're not making a chopper out of this
@backroadbeetle47816 ай бұрын
@ragingtyga luckily it already looks like a tricked out Dyna anyhow, and you'll save tens of thousands in modifications to be still slower than the SC 🤣

It's Erik (clearly, you're a fan). And no, he's not. But before you get your panties in a wad, there hasn't been a Buick an Olds or a Chevrolet (all people's last names) at General Motors for over a hundred years. Nor has there been a Dodge brother or Walter Chrysler at Mopar for almost as long.

2:44 - So, in order for you to keep it cool, you had to make it less cool? Y'all should've used the original radiator design, to add to. They legit straight up say it ain't made to do cross country trips on. Idk why everyone is trying to make this bike something it isn't supposed to be lol. If you ain't into wheelieing cruisers, a dyna bro, or just an overall hoonigan, then this is not the bike for you. It doesn't need big a** bags, it doesn't need extra tech, it don't need a bigger uglier seat, it ain't supposed to. I think so many people want this bike to be the bike THEY have been waiting for, when it was never supposed to be that to begin with. The vast majority of people agree this is exactly what it needs to be. And I think the numbers for sales will represent that. I'd bet money that these sell out the second they touch the lots, and continue to sell out over n over for the whole first year they're out.
