I can’t wait for Warsaw! My great grandparents came from Poland and I’ve always wanted to go. Also thank you for showing how easy public transit can be!

This "Tiny Toy Kitchen" is a classic kitchen china hutch from 50s and 60s and it was present in many Polish homes. My grandma and my friend's grandma had one, my nanny also had one :) Usually they were painted white. Now they are quite popular as a vintage furniture, some of them are well preserved and renovated just like this one in your airbnb.

Haha, walking through the park at night, you have to watch out for birds, mostly rooks, so that something doesn't fall down from above. At night they fly to parks, there are sometimes thousands of them, it depends on what location they choose. I live in one of the towns considered to be the most numerous night shelter for these birds, I often walk through the park on tiptoe so as not to wake them up, and I am hit with fecal matter anyway. Hey you are lucky.😄

Hahahaha so good, honestly scared the crap out of us. It makes sense that we woke them up because we were talking! We very thing looks scarier at night, the next day we picnicked in that same park, it was beautiful. Thanks a million for watching, have an awesome day!

Tip for future Polish train travels - book the non-cart seats. The same train, but different wagon. So much better experience, more space, fresh air and you can do whatever you want with no one staring at you XD

@@HeresGoodTravel Yes. The only question is will there be a place to sit. Such restaurant car is added to about 80% of long distant trains in Poland. It's quite affordable and meals are prepared on board by a cook so it takes up to 30 min to get a meal.

I never travel by train in 2nd class because it's cramped, I choose 1st class, there are 6 seats and room for luggage, and it's not much more expensive. We had to choose the Pendolino train, such a rocket and elegantly.

It always makes me laugh when foreigners from English-speaking countries say that we have a cheap country. After all, it's obvious to someone who earns in pounds or dollars. They spent $100 in one day, which is 412 Polish zlotys. Who of the average Pole earning the lowest national salary can afford such accommodation? I earn PLN 2780, which is about $ 640 per month in this "awesome" country, where apparently there is no unemployment. 6 times the expenses as in the movie and zero from the salary. Poland is cheap, but not for Poles.😢

We are tremendously grateful that we are able to live where we live and save our money to travel. We never take that for granted. With inflation from the pandemic t our home town San Diego is no longer a sustainable place to live for working class people. It is obviously not the same situation but people are dealing with this issue all over the world. We always discuss how lucky we are to be able to do the things we are because of the place we were born. We thank you for your hospitality and will always love Poland. Best of luck and thank you for following our journey.

@@HeresGoodTravel If you love Poland and its hospitality so much, maybe we will exchange places of residence or passports, if possible. With that last one, I'm kidding, of course. Then you will probably fully appreciate the advantages of the "new homeland", since it is so cheap. Poland is best looked at from a distance, through the prism of the Atlantic Ocean, and comes here only on evidence. Unfortunately, I have no connections, even among the Polish minority in the USA.

2780 PLN? It's a minimal wage, nothing really to be proud of... a graduate can earn more than a half of that easily. Sorry, but I had to comment it on

We spent 150 days in Europe and this was by far the cheapest train we found which is part of the reason we took this mode of transport. We were looking at going from Bucharest to Brasov and it was 3 times this price. Traveling that distance for less would be a ride we would love to take! Please let us know how we can find it and we will update the video!

This is not the cheapest train in Europe. If you compare it e.g. with Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria and other countries, Poland is more expensive. What's more, suggesting the title "cheapest" , puts the country as an element of interest primarily in terms of price. I have been to many countries this vacation, Croatia, Italy, Austria. None of these countries had higher prices than cities in the Polish north. (Even converting the currency) My kindly request to you guys, start focusing on the important things and not through the prism of price, just as I would create material about your country stressing that everything is so cheap. It all depends on perspective, there will be some countries for which your country will be very cheap. Of course, I realize that this is how you do content on yt and you need to add distinctive titles and images, but I think the cultural, historical aspects are more important than price for the train 😉

Can you give some example prices of train tickets in Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria on a similar distance? In the video the distance by train between Warsaw and Gdańsk is 342 km and it cost less than 10 dollars. How much would a similar ticket cost in the countries you mentioned? I guess Ukraine train tickets are cheaper indeed, but in Romania and Bulgaria not necessarily

Our entire concept was that we saved money for two years to afford our trip. In order to prolong it we had to be as frugal as possible so we could see as many places as possible. We would typically go somewhere expensive and then seek sanctuary in a cheaper country or city. Our goal is to motivate others to travel by showing them it doesn’t have to be expensive or luxurious to have an incredible journey. Price has very little to do with how incredible Poland truly is we were simply showcasing a typical travel day on our year journey and The affordability of train travel in Poland. We mention affordability in our Gdansk video but it’s not the main reason we enjoyed Poland. Thank you for watching, we have a few more videos showcasing the history, beauty and delicious food in Poland.

We spent time in Romania and looked to travel to Brasov from Bucharest and it was 3x the cost of this journey while covering a shorter distance. We would’ve loved to visit Ukraine but with everything going on we weren’t able to this go around. We spent 150 days budget traveling around Europe and this was the farthest distance covered for that price. If there is a cheaper train we would love to ride that one too! Thanks for backing us up, and for watching our travel journey. The views and comments mean the world to us, happy adventuring!
