I can't believe I ever thought God would send a soul to hell for all eternity, for any reason. I believe God redeems and restores here and in the great beyond. It is such joyous news!!

I can recommend Andrew Rillera's book "Lamb of the Free" which provides a deep insight into what atonement means with reference to Jesus. God bless you, Thomas

I have not heard of this. I’ll be honest, the start of my dogmatic understanding of the atonement began with Barth and Torrance. I’ll have to check this out.

Having worked through the scriptures and church history, I am convinced that this is the only gospel that can mean anything at all. What stumbles me now is not abstract arguments to the contrary or “gotcha” verses that, if anything, only reinforce this message when thought through with deep coherence. It is that people at best don’t care, at worst despise the very idea of it. I just don’t understand. I was never able to have spiritual integrity, a truly clean conscience, before I gave myself permission to believe it, because it was patently obvious that if this were not true, the only dregs of a gospel that could be left over would be one in which I only really cared for myself. Anyone else who goes to heaven is an intrinsically disposable “nice to have.” The only possible way to mitigate this selfishness and maintain a shred of honesty was to be profoundly miserable about it. It really stumbles me to see people who don’t believe this ever laugh, ever smile, ever enjoy anything at all, and be so downright irresponsible, from a risk management perspective, to have children. Let alone sleep beyond their absolute bare minimum physiological needs.

A conditional gospel is psychologically tormenting and logically incoherent with other aspects we hold true about God. Thank you for your thoughts!

Torah Based Universalism in Messiah Yahusha... yeah, it never made it to the States. Until now!

It’s certainly there if people are willing to see it, break with convention, and are looking for something better than the conditional gospel they might have been given!
