I don’t understand the part of the sub that says opponent discard any red Pegg cards played on this ship when this ship can only use white pegs. The opponent wouldn’t put any red pegs on the submarine.

@@paulineholshouser748 I think it is just a weird way of saying red cards cannot be played on submarines. They are just discarded.

After watching the gameplay, it looks like one interesting house rule would be allowing a player to "go loud" before playing a card, meaning they can turn a ship face up on purpose without the opponent shooting at it so they can use the benefit early.

That’s a fun idea! The coordinate grid is dealt at random, but that’s an easy change. It’s up to you to remember where you put the ships. If you accidentally expose a miss card, thats the penalty for forgetting.
