the cool thing about the straw is that i can work riffs and tone and the same time, then do other non-straw exercises afterwards for pitch, vowels, and breathing and all that!

Hi Whitney, Been a few weeks and the strength and ease I've gained is great, so fun to sing and much more confident. Thank you for these:) Is it normal to for my muscles in there to get tired feeling? I'm trying not to strain but it seems there is a fine line between strain and just muscle tired ness. Thanks for your input.

Hey Katie! Watch yourself in the mirror and see what your neck is doing. It should look super relaxed and be easy to move your head back and forth. I would also suggest you bump up to 2 or 3 straws until you can relax into the resistance more. Hope that helps. Let me know how it goes!

What is the chord progression being played behind the Downward Pentatonic riff?

It's simpler than it seems! Just holding a minor chord with a chromatic walk down in the bass note :)
