help at 4:46 there is no "with automatic weights" there are only "with empty groups" and "with Envelope weights"

Ummm 🤔 I'll try to help u. So let's say: you have your 3D mesh✅ you set the metarig✅ you succeed to generate the rig out of it ✅ .... so now back to Object mode, be sure to select in this order the 3D MESH .... then by holding SHIFT select the RIG .... now CTRL+P to open the parent menu and Automatic Weights should appear in the context menu on screen. I just did the manipulation again before I answered you 🙂 and it does work for me 👍. Hope it will help, Cheers 👌

Hiii Karla 👋😃. I wish I could dedicate more time on it but besides of making KZbin videos for the channel then having jobs, it's so overwhelming 😢. I was starting to make a new video about ROTOSCOPING, then my plan change because this September I have some commission that should keep me busy for some times, so I guess in some way it's a good news and also bad because KZbin is kinda a chill and friendly place for me 😁👌

how do i save a rig so i can import it into a scene if i need it?

👋😁If you did your rigging like I do inside Blender, I recommend to select the entire 3D model + the rig then put it in a collection. In that way when you will work on a different project you could import that rig, by going to File > Append > then select your Blender file with your rig > and find your collection . It will import your entire rig in it. All my apologize in advance if my explanation are confusing 😅🙏

@@tuat555 the addon can be found on the make human pages go to the plugins downloads and downloads the followings make human for blender , MHX for both make human and blender and the next steps is simply installing the add ons on both blender and make human which i bet you already know how too if not then send me a massages and i will guide you throught the steps

sir is it a bug i have blender 2.93.7 version and when i rigify my character the leg rig is not proper(it comes to another place) i made a simple ameture and it was completely fine but when i moved a bone and again generated it the problem came again?

Hi ! 👋🙂 It should work, so it's probably a mistake you made when you set the bones on the character. Don't worry It happened to me too😉. I would suggest you when you import the rig in the scene to scale it to height of the 3D model. (Don't move the bones yet just the full rig) when you done the scale, ctrl +A to apply the scale to > all : location rotation scale. After that you can set the bones properly over the character. And when you're finish AGAIN, ctrl+A to apply all transformations. To me you're problem came from here 👍. Awww sorry to hear that 🙁. That's a strange problem you have. Ummm not sure if it's related to the software version, but well try the latest one Blender 3.0 which I currently using 🙂👍. I hope I'll fix the problem if it's a bug from the software 🙏. Cheers!
