He’s so pure and wholesome he’s my favorite freakin character 🥺

I'm as sure that The Dark Wizard is Saruman as I was that The Stranger was Gandalf in episode 2 of last season. Speaking of, did anyone else notice someone say "grand elf" when describing The Stranger was taller than an elf. It wasn't including in this reaction's footage I don't think, I think it was Poppy who said it, but I may be wrong. New name idea for him.

@@CatherineLaSalle Right? s2 is gonna wreck us... Also, the Stranger didn't really fall from the skies but "fell" coming from west- Valinor lies west where the gods (Valar) and angels (Maiar/Istari) dwell.

It was very well done. At least when they spend that much on a show, it shows. She was badass.

This episode was the ultimate proof that those rings aren't corrupted like everything that Galadriel has done with her ring has been to benefit the elves and oppose Sauron like take Gollum for example he would never give the ring to anyone even to protect it Elrond will come around he is a ring bearer after all
@hoon_solАй бұрын
Spoiler alert: The Elven rings are corrupted, but only insofar that Sauron has influence over them as long as he controls the One Ring.
@lordfoul6259Ай бұрын
@hoon_sol there's a potential that their rings are still connected with The One Ring yes but that's why they take them off when Sauron has it just as a precaution but they put them back on
@hoon_solАй бұрын
@@lordfoul6259: Spoiler alert: It's not "potential"; they take the rings off because they can feel Sauron immediately when he puts the One Ring on, and that he will be their master if they do not. This is explicitly stated in _The Silmarillion_ and a core part of the lore.

I’m not gonna lie… I shed a tear when Tom showed up. Seeing him brought to life is incredible
@entertainmentfan1463Ай бұрын
I'm wondering but can the ring of Galadriel be a precursor for her obtaining her powers later on like we saw in the Hobbit? I think it would make sense that Galadriel and Sauron would have a proper round 2 fight and I want to see both of them much stronger with their full magic capabilities for that round 2 fight.

That was the one of the best episodes of the entire series IMO. Every plot thread present was captivating and the story really started to breathe. I'm absolutely loving this show. I got pretty emotional when Arondir started speaking to the Entwife in Sindarin. Then, Bear's score started to soar and the tears just started flowing. I just love the Ents and what they stand for. They are the guardians of the forests, their mother is Yavanna, one of the Valar. She begged Eru Ilúvatar to create them so as to protect the forests from Dwarves (her husband Aulë's creations), Men and Orcs. Elves always held the forests dear. They even taught the trees to speak. Loving all of the creatures and REALLY liked the Barrow Wights. Loving the new powers we saw Galadriel wield while bearing Nenya, her Ring of Power. That was a clever move surrendering her ring to Elrond. Nenya shouldn't be worn by any other person in the story though. Middle-Earth really is a magical place 💚🤩🥹

Shoutout to Raised by Wolves, needs to come back! Rory Kinnear is a great actor and said he chose a Cornish accent for Tom as he sees Cornwall as the oldest part of Britain, and the land has seen it all, like Tom.

I think Elrond is correct. In a way, it foreshadows the future, where Galadrial tells Frodo not to offer her the ring. He saying, she is protecting the ring, tells the draw of the one ring in the future.
@kf_uthman237Ай бұрын
Elrond understand galadriel’s mind well just like Sauron , so he knows she did it to save them but also knows she did it for the ring , they were all baffled when the ring healed that elf , not knowing it full extend of power it will be a fatal error if orcs/arda or even sauron get their hands on it , both of them understand that… thats why he didn’t argue even though he still mad at her he don’t want that ring falling into wrong hands, so he is just being salty for saying she only did it for the ring..

Cat - I took Elrond's statement about Galadrial and the ring at the end of the episode as another dismissive remark, not Elrond having a different perspective. Elrond has been frustrating because his understandable wariness towards the rings has become a wall of refusal to see any other perspective other than his own. Personally, Cirdan seems like the only one with an objective view - dangerous but necessary, powerful and unknown so use with caution.
