You could always get 2 of the same strain, one THC dominant, the other CBD dominant and mix them in different proportions to get the kind of high you want. Or you could even go as far as mixing and matching flavor/high profiles between them to completely personalize your smoking experience. Besides, CBD dominant strains tend to be cheaper to buy, so your stash of premium THC ends up lasting longer.

@@williamman8556 yes. Supposedly, there should be a better balance between CBD and THC content. CBD is thought to help protect brain cells from inflammation and mellows the high out, while THC dominant strains are thought to be linked to psychotic breakdowns when abused over a period of time.

Cannabis with higher cbd mellows out the effects of thc so it's not so intense but at the same time the 2 work together to effectively stretch the high out. That along with other cannabinoids and terpene create what is called an entourage effect producing a very nice high without the paranoia some people get. I make edibles for an older relative by mixing some white widow and some cbdutch treat because she enjoys it but most things make her paranoid.

This is an interesting tooic for sure! Just as a long time smoker going through the experiences of different papers and blunts over the years. After quitting blunts and going only papers i have noticed difference in taste, flavors, and handling throughout the different brands. I recently tried vibes papers from a friend who said he liked them. I couldn’t get a good roll out of them it was always real tight. Back in the day when raws first got really popular i tried them a lot but could never get them to burn properly they always ran off pretty bad. These days i prefer the zig zag hemp papers. They have the most non altering taste to my palate and dont give me any issues while offering a nice thick smoke. There are other brands i have tried but didnt like something about them. I haven’t tried raws in a while maybe ill give them another shot

Are you getting less active ingredient? If you get more air with certain papers, wouldnt that be the same concept of getting more alcohol from whiskey than beer? Whiskey gives you more alcohol than beer because beer is more diluted. Just because the beer is diluted alcohol, doesnt mean you dont get all the alcohol in the beer. Basically sounds like some papers will let it smolder more and waste more smoke, but i dont see how dilution wastes active ingredient unless the dilution effects absorption. Can anyone explain?

josh is probably the most knowledgeable of the process on the macro level (how resin is vaporized by the cherry) but there certainly is a use case for high CU papers. raws simply don't smoke very well unless the material inside is quality and finely ground. this is why lows are often rolled hand broken using bambu style sheets. there are even many high level growers that swear (some) extra air adds depth to the flavor.

It's not the paper, it's your rolling technique. (Not a diss towards you, just trying to offer a helpful tip) Don't roll it super tight/packed, nor too loose, and make sure it's evenly distributed from left to right. If one end/side it packed while the other side is loose, THAT'S why you're getting runs down the paper. Bcuz all the air is now flowing through the loose part while the packed stuff is still trying to burn. Hope this helps. 😎🤙 Also, I roll cones due to how much smoother it seems to burn. So maybe give that a shot as well?

I've known this since highschool just using basic logic. It's obvious smoking a J or blunt is a waste compared to using most glass products. I only use joints for concerts or something like a wedding. In house i use a bowl or nectar collector for my dabs. Now and days if i go to a event, I'd likely just bring a cartridge, because it's easier to be more discrete, and it blends in more with vape users.

If you own a cannabis company are you going to go with the paper company that gives your customers the best bang for their buck or do you want to go with the company that makes your customers buy more of your product. It helps them acquire more contracts with cannabis companies and by extension more profit share from those products.

As an old guy😂 I will say I love some of the current high thc strains. It is true what was said about that type of high. You get very high but there is a bigger crash which is not enjoyable. I regulate it with dosage. Not all high thc strains are like this of course but many are. Find what works for you. I’ll say the older, good strains from the 70’s had a high experience that was much different. It was much more introspective and contemplative. More meditative if you will. I will say that though I grow an 80’s NL5 that will fuck you up with the right dosage. More of an entourage effect. I have to warn people to take it easy with it until they know the dosage that works for them. I’ve had some young dudes rip away at it, ignoring my advice and let’s just say, they had a bad experience.🤮 Now, with today’s high thc strains, it’s much more macho. Man this shit will fuck you up! 😮 To me it’s a silly high thc race to the top for bragging rights. I thought it was supposed to be about getting people the best experience. Yeah it will fuck you up , if you like that type of experience. Personally I just want to feel good and happy. To each their own.👍
