Red Rider

Күн бұрын

It's time my sis gets her bike on the road for the season, so her and I went for our first ride together of the year! And, while riding next to her glorified weed-whacker, I realized how much I appreciate the sound of my Shovelhead...

Oh Angel, loosing someone you're so emotionally attached to is hard I know, but that is life's journey. No one is there forever including ourselves. The joy, companionship & time you share together are the most precious gifts in life. Always remember those moments. What's important is the time & journey you shared together. ❤

My Grandparents next door neighbor had a wire haired Fox Terrier named Loki. My Family had two wired hair fox Terriers when I was growing up. Very high energy dogs. My Grand Parents Neighbor built a 1/6" 1/3 and a 1/2 Scale version of a 60 Horse Power Case Steam Tractor among many other things.. He was an Engineer at Shakespear the Company that used to make Fishing Rods and Reals. I think they just have them made in China now days and put their name on them.

@@RedRiderCanadaBC I had a Family of Turkey Vultures living next to my shop two summers ago. Two Adults and 4 young ones. They sure make a lot of Noise when they walk on my Metal roof. I also had two Turkey Families Summer of 2022 .. 4 Adults and like 16 little ones. Last Summer all I saw was three Adults.. I am guessing the Raccoons ate all of their eggs.. as they nest on the ground.

I went from a 800cc cruiser bike that I rode on for about a year to learn on to a Road King. Man. I miss that RK just for its handling and comfort! My Indian Scout is a small beast and it has stock suspension which beats me up on some of the crappy roads I ride on. I'm just getting back to my KLR after I crashed it two months ago. Bike survived but my right knee not so much. Loved seeing you and your sis enjoying riding together. It's always fun riding with others that's for sure! You two keep riding and stay safe up in y'alls beautiful B.C.!

Hi there "Ms. Master of the Friction Zone" That's got to be a wonderful experience to have with your sister. - So far - she picked her feet up immediately when starting off -and slight counter balance on that first right turn - My wife trained on our Honda 250 Rebel ( Cinnamon aka Pumpkin ) and we got her Babe ( 81 CB750 ) after certification. She still is training on Babe, and looks like you are doing about 45-50 mph. We are doing so far at most 40, and most 35 mph. This weekend I got to get her out as I just rebuilt Babes Carbs @classicRider btw: My CB750 aka Beautiful Backfires. It will at certain temperatures and until I enrichen the Jets ! - No Problem - cool sound affects -

Please ask your sister if she would consider an on camera introduction. It would be nice to know her name, age, favorite bike or any other personal info. If not maybe give her a screen name. I would like to greet her and say welcome. For now "Hey, Angles Sister, sorry if I have missed your name"... Angel if you play the odds along with believing in guidance there are a huge number of scenarios that lead to Loki being with his/her parents helping them now in their smaller family territory... What I am getting at is the BEST chance to see Loki again is at the location he/she was first found on the same date this year... Thank you for another great video...COBAR

i totally get it about sportsters, i had already had a road king and a dyna, but wanted something small and zippy for city riding and playing at the local dragstrip. I owned my sportster for 20 minutes before wrecking and ending up in the trauma ward for a couple weeks because i was cocky and thought i could just jump on and get sketchy with it lol...i respect sportsters now and how they ride their own ways

Oh man, that sounds like it sucked. There is definitely a fine line between being over confident and not confident enough on a bike.

really sorry to hear about crow , dont give up hope yet , i had a jackdaw who went everywhere with me , think his instincts told him to go to wherever they go to in the winter , he probably wanted you to go with him , good to see you getting some backing on the road 😘

I am glad I got to raise my bird and give him a chance that he wouldn’t have had. And I could have never kept him unless he wanted to be kept... It's unfair when people "help" wild animals in need and then leave them locked up. They should always be allowed to leave if they choose.

Not trying to complain . I'm not a you tube creator yet i do comment from time to time . Ive seen comments about bad audio and one tip was to wrap a cloth around the mic to reduce wind noise . Just a suggestion that ive read that may improve your audio ??? Only trying to help .

Thanks for the tip. I have a wind sock but I think the noise of my sister’s bike was just a bit loud for my mic setting. I’ll have to turn down the gains next time.

Hey, at least her weed whacker LOOKS cool! :) It's too bad that your Trials bike isn't ready to G-O quite yet, because riding (and crashing) in the dirt is a good confidence booster. She has a good teacher, so it won't be too long til she is on her own hog, so you won't have to listen to 'wooooooooo!!" unless you choose to, and your sister will be a lot more connected to the road when passing or getting passed by a car or truck.

"My dad made sure that this motorcycle didn't fall apart in the first hundred miles." This is a typical story about Chinese motorcycles, that their metal is made as if from rice husks. I have a lot of stories about this. One of the stories: I had a Chinese sports motorcycle (with a volume of only 125 cubic centimeters) and since the engine was covered with plastic, I could not monitor the technical condition of the engine. And at one point on the road, the engine of this motorcycle just flew out of the frame and told me "Goodbye, we can't be together anymore"! It's all because of the thin metal and vibrations. Such motorcycles need to be welded in a circle with welding and pieces of normal metal. (I hope this is written without strong and stupid mistakes😅Because my English is not my strong poin🥲).

Its just the way the white on the sidewall is kind of uneven, makes it look wobbly.
