Great story. And it's great to see a Pantah getting the love that it deserved. The 600SL Pantah was the bike that I chose when I got my L's for the second time & I loved it. The skinny tyres, useless brakes & super heavy clutch lever were a dumb choice for a learner in 2002, but it gave the bike so much personality. It taught me so much about riding a slow bike fast & smooth.

I’ll have to check in with Tracey as I think the Pantah might be just about completed.

Gotta lot luv for the Monster. Really fun bikes with a cheesy grin on ya face. For big bike experience I had back in 1998. AWESOME. 👍😎👍

What a great bike! And you've kept it in fantastic condition, too. My favourite swinging arm design there. I had one from 2007 to 2013 and took it down to Italy to visit the Ducati factory. I traded it in for a Monster 1100 Evo, which I still have. Can't beat an air-cooled Monster!

Yes, Tracey’s kept it in fantastic nick. An older air cooled monster is definitely a bike I’ve had on the wishlist for quite a while

im a 56 male that started riding only 2 years ago. i like going very fast, but only on straights LOL

Lol, so no knee down yet I’m guessing. Enjoying the ride is the main thing.

@@BikerTorque no knee down.... im very conservative guy. i like speed but im afraid to get hurt LOL. i want to learn motogymkhana. its a lot of turning/banking but at low speed only. if i make a mistake, maybe the worst would be a broken bone... way safer than a track session where you can die if you make a mistake :D
@BikerTorque19 күн бұрын
@ I have to say, I recently did a track session and felt as safe as I have ever been on a bike because everyone’s going in the same direction, and you can come around a bend at speed with confidence that the tarmac will be clear of debris and potholes. My recommendation is book in for road riding lessons, on track, you’ll learn so much.
