The man was taking the bugs, something ugly, and placing the diamonds (beautiful) inside of them. When the robbers killed the man, they took everything that they deemed beautiful, but left behind the most beautiful thing of all. Beauty lies within!

I remember watching this video for the first time when I was a freshman in High School thus it got me hooked into TDWP and the whole emo/scene phase, but afterwards I became one of those stereotypical close minded metalheads and started to dislike this whole metalcore genre, but sooner or later, as a metalhead, I started to appreciate every type of music as I grew and so after those 5 years, here I am in my 2nd year of college I've decided to come back and listen to the bands that I used to be into as a teen just for a good laugh... as soon as I heard that intro, a tear started to fall from my eye and started getting chills from the backup singers voice (whom I always forget his name). I don't know if I'm the only one with this thought but HTML and Hey John, What's Your Name Again are truly nostalgic songs and they make me miss high school so much and I wish I had a chance to relive the moment when I first discovered TDWP. SO MUCH NOSTALGIA RIGHT NOW :')

Lyrics: Oh, and yet, I've, been cleansed... And yet I've been cleansed with the water A purity no mind can grasp A purity so cool upon my fingertips The vision that I have seen; this is the action that spawns from the end. For the longest time, I've been watching (I've been watching) the world breathe again What lies here What lies here Are mountains Composed of Tombstones Tombstones Tombstones Tombstones Examine these, these beautiful faces; keep singing now, keep singing now Examine these beautiful faces; keep singing now Examine these beautiful faces; of war (Now, Examine, these, beautiful fa-ces sing, sing, singing, sing, singing) Yeah! Will we push bedlam noise to the state of blissfulness? Display her beauty To the people To the people Oh! A purity no mind can grasp

"And yet i've been cleansed with the water. A purity no mind can grasp. A purity so cool upon my fingertips. The vision that i've seen: this is the action that spawns from the end. For the longest time, i've been watching the world breathe against (spiderwebs). What lies here are mountains composed of tombstones. Examine these beautiful faces, keep singing now. Keep singing. Will we push bedlam noise to the state of blissfulness? Display her beauty to the people. A purity no mind can grasp." metal is scary screaming that spawns demons LMFAO

1:29 1:42 is a good example. The drummer may not have been that technical or polished but he’s actually genius with those strangely timed filled I’ve never heard anything like it to this day

As much as having a teacher can definitely improve your playing, being self taught usually breeds the most creativity,as a guitar and bass player myself I'd point to Jimmy Hendrix with his generally out of timing playstyle even though I personally don't really listen to him.

Well Christina it's called lyrics maybe if you used those you would understand the song, of course if you listen to some metalcore, post hardcore, deathcore for a few years, you start to understand
