@@abyrnebyrne5117 that can be true. I used to get at least 10 death threats daily from people arguing (I tried to keep it logical) with me about evolution, philosophy and religion... The spiders seems like a call back to the Spider metaphor in Widower, the flowers on the eyes from How to Survive a Funeral, Sean sitting in the chair exactly like the Lord of Woe is on the Lord of Woe EP cover. Seems to be once again linking back many other songs they've done. Hoping this means that a new album is actually on the way, and it's not just an in between releases song like Hollowed Heart or 27 🤞

I've done this exact thing hundreds of times. Feeling like I was worthless and didn't deserve people that I loved and cared for in my life. I wasn't worthy. And my depression tries to sabotage everything, including friendships. I'll NEVER be able to be in a relationship again because of my depression. And I'm 33. By choice, haven't been with a woman (I'm straight) in 9 years. I'm the type to watch a movie where there's a love and relationship that comes together and I get sad and overwhelmed because I wish that could be me. That romantic lovey dovey movie scene where everything is perfect... And it's stamped with an eventual kiss. But Im told by my depressive inner dialogue that I don't deserve that and I'm pathetic and there's no reason to even second thought the idea of ever being truly loved. It fucking sucks. I'm sorry your depression made you push away something deserving in your life. :( *Hugs*

The little bits of modulation at the end of the choruses and during the pinch harmonic bit are INSANELY SICK and perfectly subtle.

I've only been screaming for 1½ years but this band (and also Drown This City) are an inspiration for me as a female screamer! I love this 🖤🤘

The piano in this too. Shifts seamlessly between major and minor and is such a head trip for my brain. I love it!

@theimmortalsOH true also...you could always write everything in measures of 1/64 sigs and no scale reference longer than that, just roots and 3rds then have fun memorizing the chord sequences with a drummer like dude from Metalocalypse cartoon likes 300 bpm tempo settings or something and _try_ to improv measure by measure... I'd probably jokingly refer to that as the really fast "fake" book on crack... you'd definitely need network assistance for that silliness I would think.

Everytime I get a buzz I find myself here, Worlds apart, Neverbloom or how to survive a funeral. The art within this music speaks to my spirit.

@@sacarymoviesamu I'm saying i'd listen to literally anything that features Courtney LePlante because she's incredible, but @Cameron Long needs to book himself in for an intelligence transplant because he clearly doesnt think she's that good!
