So to simply put, the turn-out of that fight is just very well done.

+epicboy432 You should feel lucky that Tommy was buffed tremendously in this battle. Especially the speed because there is no way in hell he could beat Epyon in term of speed. Heck, this fight would be one-sided if it was Wing Zero.

Remember, the purpose of the fight is entertainment and representation of their research. It was based on what would have most likely happened, and Tommy probably wouldn't have thought the Gundam would be such a threat early on.

The speed they gave Epyon was FAR too low honestly, and their justification to get the Tigerzord's speed up was bloody contrived as can be. A DIFFERENT Ranger tossed a car so Tommy has 32x reaction time and so does the Tigerzord. The logic is bonkers. They are utterly wrong when they claim all Rangers are equal. When the Rangers got the Ninja power, they got quite a bit stronger, Also, Zechs had mastered the ZERO System by the end of the series. I really did not like the VA for Zechs, but Tommy was played very well and his banter with Saba was excellent.

To your comment about the zord not really duping the epyon system I think they were referring to "the epyon system indicates you have shown your full arsenal" which he did for the regular zord but he duped the system by combining with the other zords thus adding power speed and more to his arsenal.

Don't worry dude Gundam was very new to me when I saw Epyon for the first time but it's still a new anime to me even though Gundam Wing came out in 1995. But it was a great fight and I can't wait for Ryu vs Scorpion and right now Ryu's preview is already up on Screwattack and on KZbin.

It bothers me but overall this was an amazing fight and I loved it! XD Ris, what you said about like what tommy could've done differently and about Zechs and stuff I agree completely. Do you think like Zechs hallucination. While that was happening don't you think that Tommy could've like chopped him or shot a beam that could've killed Zechs because that would've killed him? I'm not disagreeing with Wiz or Boomstick but it's just what I think here.

Even with full knowledge of both combatants, I KNEW that Tommy was going to lose. From the moment I saw the reveal, I knew Tommy wasn't going to survive. Why? Epyon's ZERO system was too much, it was too adaptable for Tommy to keep up. In that final moment when they noticed Epyon had dodged their finisher, I was thinking, 'MOVE TOMMY!! DODGE OR DEFEND IT!!', but no, it was not meant to be and Tommy didn't have the reaction experience that Zechs had for instantaneous vision(s) of death. One thing that's a weakness of Power Rangers, they had never had a true loss that they couldn't overcome. That and the fact that no Ranger ever died in active duty (minus Kendrix but that was circumstantial AND she came back to life at the end of the series, resuming the Lost Galaxy powers despite the fact that Karone was also able to use them) kinda makes them ever so slightly arrogant that they can win the fight. It's not absolute, but the feeling can be there, especially for Tommy who's survived and experienced more battles than any other ranger.

Also, when you asked what those "other" suits were made of, they were Leo suits, Earth Military standard, not very good suits...And not made out of Gundanium.

I totally agree with the outcome, Tigerzord's warrior mode was defeated by a five on two battle with magically endowed monsters its own size, but the thing is, much as I hate it, the beam saber is like a lightsaber, it'll cut though anything but specially made metal, magik auras or other lasers. Still sucks. They ought to bring out Tom clone for a Dragonzord rematch, what ya think?

The Heavy Arms variations were always my favorites, but the Epyon is really cool. Come tom think of it a lot of my favorite models were from Gundam Wing. The Gundam fighters would be my second favorite with the Burning Gundam and Dark Gundam. Though Master Asia in general was just awesome.

Not surprised at all that Zechs took this battle, because of their feats comparison. I knew from the get-go if Zechs were to use his typical tactics, which they did use (the whole all auxillary power to the thrusters, then the beam sword), he'd disconnect even the Mega Tigerzord from the Morphing Grid. That being said, however, I also had a ray of hope for Tommy, because of the facts that he has had four different power ranger forms, being the original Green and White Rangers, being the Red Zeo ranger, and being the Black Dino Thunder Ranger. My asssumption would've been that Tommy would have had access to all four of his ranger forms, with the different power of each form, but they didn't go that route. Had they gone that route, Tommy would've won.

When I first watched this battle, I barely knew a thing about the Tigerzord, and I fell out of Gundam, since I didn't see any other Gundam show, since G Gundam aired on Cartoon Network. I was...essentially brought back to liking Gundam, by Code Geass, since they were both made by the same studio. I was hoping for the Tigerzord to win, but I wasn't upset with the result, either.

The people who did this got several facts about Gundamn wing off. Zecks was not the original intended user for Eypon for one, That was Heero. Heero didn't like the style of Gundamn he was piloting and the fact that one of his sworn enemys made it. So Zecks and Heero switched suits, at the time Zecks was in control of the Wing Zero. Which also had the Zero system on board. Heero and Zecks fought and Eypon lost to Wing Zero after realizing he was fighting for the wrong cause. Another issue was the name of the onboard computer. The system was never called the Eypon system, It was the exact same system inside of Wing Zero, the Zero system. The Zero system was so intense that people that tried to use it other then Zecks and Heero ended up either dying due to the amount of neurological overload or went mostly crazy and killed things they once tried to protect. The system literately told you what to do, not just guided you and if you weren't strong enough to control it, it would control you. I could go on but thats the main issues!

Gotta say I am less mad at the next fight than I was at first. I really wanted it to be Liu-Kang vs Ryu and I have been also wanting to see Toph in Death Battle and expected that to be the next one given how long its been since her sprites were leaked but eh, I think this will still be good. I think my only problem with it is the possibilty of Scorpion losing as I really like MK and not too into Street Fighter. Similar to Cap vs Batman where I kind of got mad as I wanted Cap to win more. Either way Ryu can be used again so Liu-Kang vs Ryu isn't off the table now.

I have never seen Gundam but I think no robot in that world changes it's form to be bigger and stronger plus the system didn't know about the MegaTiger zord all it knew was something huge was coming to destroy him. So by duped I think they meant confuse it.

The only robots in Gundam Wing that change forms are....yes the underwater searching suits and the Wing Zero and Epyon. For the most part people still need to make "Underwater only" Suits to be able to go and fight underwater. They change from a flater robot into one that can stand sort of speak. Wing Zero and Epyon change into Jet mode suits. In other Gundam shows there are more Jet suits and the very first Gundam had a main core as a Jet Fighter. Which would connect to the legs and body of the main suit. So even if you destroyed that gundam as long as the main core Jet Fighter was alive it could still VERY well fight and destroy the other robots. The Epyon system was tricked because it scanned the bot first, saw what it had, then relayed the info to them. Tommy wasin't going to call the other Zords yet. But the Robot or Tommy him self started to think or process the need for them, that's then the Epyon system scanned and understood that the Zord has more.

But also knowing a lot about gundam wing. If anything they left out a LOT about Epyon and Gundanium and the zero system and got a few stats wrong. Good episode though. Lots of the facts Im talking about are cannon but are really only avalible in extra outside material. Which I have. My gods Think of what it would have been like if they went with Wing Zero? Can do all that epyon can but with LOTS more firepower.

Eh don't worry so much. The problem with Japanese Robot's is that some are just way over powerful in order to look flashy. Gundams are VERY small to other robots over there. You can do a google search of Japanese Robot Sizes and find people that made pictures based on this. Most Robots don't even reach the Voltron/GoLion feet height.

Gigantic omega To be honest that might not be true. If only for one fact, that Zechs has been fencing since a kid and its been showcased that "Gundam" skill is almost just equally to battle skill. There is a reason why the first series made a "Red Zaku" that was able to out match the first Gundam. It was to show case just how important skill was to a robots power. So....research is needed for this fight. Also I'm MAJORLY counting the fact that the White Ranger was able to fight almost Evenly with Lord Zedd and the fact that the actor behind the guy had his own Dojo building what ever...MMA fighting record or not the white ranger is/was the best back then. It be interesting...just its sad that no physical skill is really showcased by Zechs just sword play.

In power rangers the non warrior mode thunderzords were more or less drones when they combined with the tigerzord because Saban didn't bring the core 5 dairangers to MMPR and also because of that fact they didn't show the cockpit when it was the megatigerzord since in dairanger Shishiranger, Tenmaranger, Kirinranger, and Hououranger were in the cockpit with Kibaranger

Also in my opinon Billy's better than Tommy since season 1 and 2 he kept taking breaks while Billy kept going for all 3 seasons nonstop, and I don't see the power loss as an excuse, Tommy could have stuck around and helped with crowd control or something

I think in the anime of the first half, any mobile suit that wasn't a gundam weren't made of Gundanium. Next half, not sure.

The first Gundam was still not made Gundanium per say but Luna Titanium Alloy which the name was changed to Gundanium. [I'm talking about Gundam as a series in its self.] Glad I looked that up. Those Green guys where made of Titanium Alloy. The black guys that Epyon started to cut where made of Gundanium Alloy. In most of the Gundam Series Mass Produce suits wont use Gundanium...but those Black Suits did. But yes after a while they did start making Gundanium suits.
