I don't care if men are not suppose to love romantic movies but I fell in love with this movie and this beautiful song in 1984 when I was 14 years old. I am now an aging 52 year old and I still think it is one of the most romantic songs ever written.

This movie is one of my earliest memories. I was 2 when it came out so I can't remember the exact first time I saw it. It's almost like a memory I've always had. I too like this movie on level not quite able to be described with words.

I have adored this song upon hearing it in the movie 37 years ago and went to tremendous lengths back all those years ago to find a recording of it. I still adore it today but when I have played it around other people and they ALL hate it. How can one song connect with so few a people but for them so deeply whilst others (the vast majority) can't connect with it at all? I'm glad to find another who likes it a lot.
