Rita.. the new song you sang at Zion City broke alot off of me. Have you recorded it yet?

Your songs and Jason Upton's were so integral in my life as an intercessor... fresh Holy Spirit anointing floods in... and prayers flow! Churches need this kind of TRUE WORSHIP. WE MUST NOT SHRINK BACK.

Thank you so much for clarifying how we are constantly being saved. God bless you 🙏

What seems extreme is very prophetic and angels preserved you and carved the character of who you are today. I understand the underlying pain of no consistency or stability. I have moved over 28 times inmy life. I didn't go to any school for more than a few years before we moved again. The promise of a better life was always in the promise of the next move.

That's right. Praise to the gift of dreaming! I had a pretty emotionally unstable upbringing. Art was my escape. Color became my church.

I have always loved your worship and the depth of your affection for Jesus that just flows out of it. You laid hands and prayed over me years ago & I asked for you to impart whatever you felt in your spirit. You shared that you had walked in some pretty broken places and that is why the depth of your affectionate worship was so strong. Now I know your story, so thanks for sharing. Looking forward to following you!

So grateful for this vulnerability in leaders ...we need these stories... Most of what we have heard are the tail end faith victories in songs...influence... thanks so much

Your story really speaks to me. I've been really going through some heavy battles and oppression as soon as I said yes to accepting the Lord's calling. He's calling me into worship and I am a songwriter. I'm still in the early stages of this journey and it has not been easy. Thank you for sharing your story! I'm following you and look forward to more of these podcasts

Your story really touched my heart and released healing. I can identify with so much of the story. The radical religious upbringing with the poverty-stricken childhood. Both my parents are still alive but still I'm trying to get healing. So many things were promised to my parents about who I would be and I feel that my life now is so far from it. Feeling like being a disappointment but trying to find my source in God for myself. Thank you for sharing your story. Blessings.

Thank you for sharing your story. Mine is similar. As a piano teacher, I’m looking forward to your piano lessons story. (37 years of teaching). I’m Kelley from Lee Bennett’s church. We left corporate church altogether and now walk in the Hebraic understanding of scripture. Blessings on you, my friend. I hope our paths cross again someday. I live near Boise Idaho now.

Rita, I feel like you described my childhood to a T...I can't even tell you how having someone else articulate things that I couldn't articulate as a child is so healing. I was in the car for a few hours driving somewhere and this testominy and the other one about worship being a flashlight in the wilderness ministered to me soooo much! It gave language to some of my experiences with worship as a child as well...felt like you were talking right to me.Thankyou!! God did something. So healing in me through your story ❤

Wow , what a story , a testimony . Thank you for sharing ❤ I can really understand what you were saying about questioning things and asking why and the need for balance! Simple and balance are two of my favorite words. Inguess because growing up i needed simplicity and balance, and once I came to Christ at 20, he gave me this in my life and so much more and Healing ❤

Poverty is not of God. And the East Coast churches always taught it was wrong to have or want money and I knew that could not be of God so I stayed away from church.

How do people who have not seen how to get ahead in life, come from nothing themselves, single parenting or what have you, get out of poverty for their family. When they pray. When they talk with Jesus. If it's not from God, am I left out?

Wrong! It wasn't Micheal, the arch Angle who had the music, and got kick out of heaven. This tells us that you don't know the Bible or God!
