izone disbanded because they were only supposed to promote for that long, if not they definitely would have been a group longer. produce show groups usually have a set amount of time to promote before they go off to redebut in other groups or go solo. also, wonyoung/yujin debuted in IVE, chaewon/sakura debuted in LE SSERAFIM, yuri/eunbi/chaeyeon/yena are soloists, and the rest are doing other activities

IZ*ONE was a project group that was supposed to disband around 2-3 years later after their debut, but they disbanded earlier because it was revealed before "Panorama" that the resulting ranks in Produce 48 (The contest they participated in) were rigged, meaning some of the girls in IZ*ONE weren't even supposed to be there and were supposed to be eliminated or in a different rank. Because of this, IZ*ONE had to disband earlier to avoid backlash and getting a bad reputation. Panorama ended up becoming their disbandment song, which is why in many of the scenes the girls are looking at the camera in a sentimental way or smiling down while watching stuff in their camera, it was their way of representing the memories they had while being a group. I have a huge affection and admiration for Iz*One since I discovered them with their first 'Violeta' comeback. Since their disbandment I'm super sensitive to the topic when it comes to them and I love seeing people discovering them after they disbanded because it makes me believe they shouldn't have broken up after the 2 1/2 year contract. But thinking on the other hand, we wouldn't have the girls from Le Sserafim or Ive. I'm glad you reacted to my crystals and I highly recommend you watch Violeta's MV and check out all their dance practices. The girls are the group with the highest sync ever seen in the 4th generation. You will not regret.

New sub! Defo a WIZONE. Love to see people become fans of this group. They are amazing! I'm hopeful we'll get a reunion one day along with a full comeback. That would be EPIC! She also released songs as a soloist too. Minju as an actress Yujin and Wonyoung redebuted on IVE. They will be having a comeback on April 10. Sakura returned to HKT48 then graduated and redebuted on Le Sserafim and Chaewon debuted on Le Sserafim. They will be having a comeback on May. Chaeyeon joined a dance crew called Want and they participated on Street Woman Fighter and she debuted as a soloist. She will be having a comeback on April 12. They are a temporary group from the survival show you just read on the start of their profile, Produce 48. They have a contract of 2 and a half years and after that, they will return to their agencies or groups. There was a talk of a contract extension but some things happened and it didn't went through. So they disbanded on the original date they are supposed to disband. They debuted with La Vie En Rose in October 2018. Followed by Violeta, Fiesta, Secret Story of the Swan, and their last comeback, Panorama. They had another song released after Panorama that is a project song for the Universe app called D-D-Dance. And a Pepsi CF song with 4 of the members participating in it. Fiesta and the album it is in was actually supposed to be released on November 2019 (if I'm not mistaken) but was postponed because of the rigging controversy on the Produce 101 survival show series. Thankfully, they weren't disbanded earlier than they should have. I recommend their dance practices because they were called as one of the most synchronized groups of K-pop. Also, their songs are all very good.

People will have already told you this, but the reason IZ*ONE disbanded is because they were always meant to be a temporary project group. That's how most survival shows work, unless they are ones where every trainee is from the same label (Sixteen or I-Land or No Mercy). But for most of these survival shows, the contestants all come from different labels and agencies, so they can only promote with the temporary groups for a set amount of time. The former Produce series groups only had like a year, IZ*ONE had the longest promotion time up until now, 2 and a half years. Kep1er will have a similar time frame and I assume the Boys Planet group also.

They disbanded because their contract expired (a lot of groups formed in these reality shows have short contracts) and the companies wanted their idols back now that they were popular. It definitely wasn't for a lack of popularity! Out of the 12 members, 4 of them are in two of the biggest girl groups and 4 are great soloists. The 2 other Japanese members went back to their group in Japan and of the 2 last members who were both known as visuals, one of them is now a KZbinr/model and the other is an actress/model. Overall, the IZ*ONE legacy is very strong.

Dude check out the dance practices. The synchronicity and power these women have is insane. I know there are groups known for their synchronicity, but they have like 5 or 7 members. IZ*ONE has twelve and they make military drill teams jealous of their synchronicity. You've read their profiles there is nearly a 1 foot gap in heights, they all dance like they're 6 feet tall!

they're a project group bourne from a competition program 'Produce 48' like someone mentioned before ...and members are from different entertainment companies and thus had limited time contracts as their respective companies want their respective members for their own.. also they're not the first bourne from this project or projects like it as there were groups before them that went through this process as well edit: that one you said looked beautiful and did that hairflip in Panorama is Yujin (currently in IVE with won young)

i miss iz*one sm 😭 i wasn’t even a hardcore fan or anything but it seemed like everyone loved them whether they were a fan or not. when it was time for them to disband, i rlly thought they wouldn’t just bc of their sheer popularity and influence on 4th gen kpop. i’m proud of where all the girls have gone since their disbandment though 😢

Izone disbanded because the contracts for the Produce series shows are for temporary groups, they win a contract for X years for promotions. They have an end date when they debut

was watching Chaeyeon's solo comeback and came across your video. ugh making me remember how much i miss iz*one how iconic and powerful they were. then also reading the lyrics to Panorama post disbandment, got me in my feels. they were such a beloved group that excelled in song, dance, performance and entertainment. their chemistry with each other was also so good. i'm glad they all have found a form of success after parting ways but it does make me sad sometimes to see them off in a another group as if iz*one never existed.

iz*one is a project group so they are really bound to disband after the contract... same as I.O.I and Wanna One all of them are from different labels, this is their companies way to promote a member and their future groups/activities once their time as iz*one ended... the 3 japanese members even before joining pd48 and debuting in iz*one, their names are already big in Japan especially SAKURA (who is now in Le Sserafim) as a wiz*one I wish they never disbanded, their chemistry is just amazing... I remember bawling in tears on their last concert...

Panaroma is so epic!!! I remember being so shook finding out they disbanded. Also the lyrics got me in my feels but they are still out there still chasing their dreams so it makes me feel better about it lol
