Thanks for making this video for everyone! However, you omitted showing how to adjust both the amount of assistance ("Strength") and the sensitivity of that assistance ("Reaction Time") using the two knobs (just below the ch5 & ch6 buttons). If you're in any soft stuff, be it sand, dirt, or snow, somewhere around 40 (top#) and 60 (bottom#) is a good place to start.

GYRO complete and ACCURATE instructions for the 6-ch Tx/Rx that comes with the 'Carbon' version. Firstly, it's assumed that the Transmitter(Tx) and Receiver(Rx) are already bound to each other, and both powered ON, thus there's NO need to even open the Receiver(Rx) box at all. 1) Turn OFF the Transmitter, and keep the truck powered ON. With the Transmitter OFF, press and hold the SWA (ch3) button, and then long-press the power ON button at the same time. --->Transmitter(Tx) will now be in the Gyroscope setting mode. Mixing Button (bottom LEFT on Tx): This turns the Gyro On/Off. --->When the upper right corner of the screen shows a 'signal' symbol (e.g. cell tower symbol), the Gyroscope in ON, otherwise it's OFF. ALSO: The Forward/Reverse Button (bottom RIGHT on Tx): This alters the directional effect of the Gyroscope. ---> The ◥ symbol on the screen means 'normal' operation. I.E., if vehicle fishtails to the Right, gyro steers to the Right. (Make SURE this is selected!) ---> The ◣ symbol on the screen means 'reverse' operation. (NEVER select that!) IMPORTANT: This following is correct and confirmed, but often cited incorrectly! Left Steering Dual-rate Knob (below the ch5 button): Adjusts the Gyroscope's 'Sensitivity' aka 'Reaction Time'. (top number on the screen) Right Throttle Dual-rate Knob (below the ch6 button): Adjusts the Gyroscope's 'Intervening Travel Ratio' aka 'Amount of Reaction'. (bottom number on the screen) Once finished adjusting the settings, Long-press the SWA (ch3) button and it will be saved. (2 beeps) DONE! (so there's NO need to power off ,and then back on, anything!) LASTLY, very IMPORTANT x2: Return the Steering (endpoints s/b at least ~75%) and Throttle (@100% of course) dual-rate Knobs to your chosen, normal operating positions.

CSL, have you ever come across anyone like me that has a transmitter that is only able to control throttle, servo and lights? no trims. no gyro adjustments of any kind. can't turn it on. I've followed your steps very carefully several times. The only thing the car responds to is the things I mentioned.

Wow thank you soooooo much for this video. If I want to tweak the level of how much gyro I want, at which point can I do it, and where is the button? Also, my steering is reversed, how I can fix this problem? I have been looking for a KZbin video explaining this very complex radio transmitter. I can't seem to find anybody completely focus on all the features of this transmitter. Anyway, I'm saving this video to my favorite.

Hi there.. you can tweak the levels after powering it up with the SWA button pressed at the same time.. you will notice the two numbers and can tweak them using the 2 round dials.. I have found that 20-30 for the top number (gyro strength) and approx 60 for the bottom number (reaction time) are good. press the SWA button again once you have set those values and you should be good to go. This transmitter is actually a HOTRC CT-6A and there is a great review by PERTH WEST OZ RC which explains all the features including the reversing channels. Hope that all helps.

Thanks tried the feature but I don't know, feels weird. I think I'll switch to the MT12 Surface Radio Controller and swap a PWM ELRS receiver.

Thx, i got my Carbon Edition yesterday and took it for a first drive today. With the gyro on its undrivable. Instead of making it mor stable.... it gets much harder too drive. Feels like the gyro is working in the wrong direction. When i turned it off.... driving was great. Is there a way to switch the gyro so it works the other way around?

i found it. the button on the lower right switches the way the gyro reacts. now everything ist fine and the car is so stable and easy to drive

I have a new Carbon version and can't get my remote to do anything, there is a lock symbol on the screen. EDIT: I overlooked in the manual where it states jhow to unlock the remote, tad embarrassed, lol...

@@dleatherb I got Gyro to work. Radio was locked and gyro was reversed. Also it's sensitivity was set too high. Trying to figure out other little annoyances with mine now. Thinking top speed should be higher, and mine won't wheelie for nothing. But I am slowly figuring out adjustments on the radio. Almost ordered another Carbon because they are on a decent sale right now, then drove this one and figured I will use that money to upgrade this one. My 150A ESC (only a couple bucks more than a 120A,) a programmer card, and bigger 4S batteries are already on order. Jury is still out on the remote. Might order a different 6 channel that is easier to Navigate. Time will tell.

@@LuckyDuck24so if you go to the hot RC KZbin channel there are a lot of instructional videos on how to operate the CT6A transmitter. I replied with another comment with a link to the video that shows you how to do the lock and unlock function, but I don't know if KZbin allowed the comment or not.

My own shook so bad when I adjusted or tried to anyway that I decided to leave it off, in my humble opinion I'm so sorry that I bought two of these trucks, luckily I was able to return one to Amazon too bad I couldn't return them both, no more cheap Chines imports for me LoL, thanks for the information.

RLAARLO - TWO QUESTIONS. 1. IS IT RLAARLO OR Riaario? I see it written both ways - by you. confusing. 2. Bros, how do I unlock the transmitter? why is that not mentioned anywhere online? great engineering here, but you need to stop having the engineers do the marketing and support content. They are geniuses, but not at user experience design work. Famously not at all experience designers - for one, they are too close to the problem and they accidentally assume we understand a variety of details that they do - like how the heck to unlock the transmitter so I can do any of these tweaks. Thanks.

Or you could learn how to drive an rc car without a useless gyro. It’s not a 2wd drift car.
