haven't seen the new one and i have no intention to. everybody always wants to take something good, a classic, put their modernized twist on it and put their name to it and try to make it better and 99% of the attempts at that suck. they tried it with Point Break, Breakfast Club, and i never watched those remakes either. didn't have to. the audience's silence, or lack of acknowledgement of those nowadays says it all lol

The remake is horrible. Yes, the original is a "bad" film but it is still extremely entertaining and fun. I have watched it at least 1000 times. The arch villian, Brad Wesley, is great. Everyone is over the top and if anyone takes it seriously, they are missing the point.

A lot of the hits in this scene were real. Swayze really busted open Teague's eye, and the part where Teague hits Swayze in the ribs with the log was improvised and I believed it cracked a couple of his ribs.
