When they bring out a new brisket at Buc-ees, they all say, "Freeeeesh brisket on the board!" Beaver nuggets make an excellent breakfast cereal. And yes, you always spend more than you should at Buc-ees.

Truck Driver here, 99% of weigh stations are checking for vehicles to not be over a gross mas weight of 80,000 pounds, unless you have oversize permit (that's a long story for another day) they also have cameras and check to see the inside condition of the truck, if the dash is MESSY chances are OTHER THINGS ARE MESSY, general appareacne of truck can trigger an inspection and those can go smoothly like mine ALWASY Do or they can get EXPENSIVE FAST, Big Trucks equal BIG FINES. Love Bucc-ee's finally opening 1 in the Northern Kentucky Area, but we always stop on road trips to FLORIDA, we also stop at the Georgia Peach World..It's a family tradtion. Road trips with NO Specific agenda are always fun, we get there when we get there and stop and see exciting things. Can't wait for our return to Disney trip Christmas 22 WOOHOO Be safe and enjoy each other's company. Sorry that got long winded ooops

One of my favorite things about your content (of which there are many) is how you often mention how things/places/etc smell. It really adds to the experience! To answer your question, when you were going over the bridge there in Downtown Jacksonville, the lower black bridge, is a railroad crossing bridge. And the silver bridge you went over, does not go over the river, but goes over a bunch of railroad lines.

1. DUUUUUVALLL We just moved out of jax last September and i was beyond excited the hospital my daughter was born in was shown and the exit by our old home💖 2. My husband is from Daytona the entire time during the bucees part he kept saying “we were just there!” Because it was our last trip to see his family and of course had to stop one last time before we left Jacksonville the next day. 3. We we’re expecting peach world to be a giant store just to find the little shack but still pretty cool!

Im so lucky to live near the parks yes, however Im more lucky that my work area leads me to Jacksonville 2 times a month and YES guess where I stop always always Buccees!!! love it so much i was blown away when I first saw ATW video about this place and the fact that they were coming to Fla. I'm excited to see where you go as I am in Pennsylvania and travel I95 down to Orlando when I drive there so i was super familiar with the sites along the way. I wish they had pull over stops on some of the low bridges in GA and SC in low country as it is so pretty. Usually i am driving through there at sunset or sunrise and its so pretty over the water. I so hate the big bridge in Jacksonville and the traffic there. I think i take the beltway East if i recall from my drive home in February. :) I stopped for the first time for gas and got their breakfast sandwich at Bucee's in St Augustine. It is truly an amazing place and those restrooms are nice! lol... Depending on how far north you come, i highly recommend to get off I95 and take Route 301. I love the small towns you go through. I usually get off 95 around Richmond VA to get to 301 and take that into Delaware to hop over to PA. :) Hopefully you make it to PA someday as i am close to Hershey Park, Dorney Park, Knoebels, Amish country and so much more.

I have stopped at Buc-ees in Warner Robbins and Daytona Beach. They are neat stores. Glad you tried the bbq sandwiches, i loved them. Love your old 80s rock music! Fun trip! And that hotel room is huge. Enjoy!

The people seemed very nice. My goodness that coffee was super piping hot !! Such a simple thing to do but I have never tried boiled peanuts Georgia style. I think your stopping was a good idea. Sam was driving a long time you do not want to get him uncomfortable and tired. What a sweetheart he is. He needed to rest and relax. I can not believe the size of those Hotel rooms in the Carolina's. Like being in an apartment.

I used to live in GA and now live here in FL. My husband and I did a road trip back to GA to visit friends and we stopped at a Buc-ee’s in Warner Robbins. I love road trips ! Fun fact! On our way to Disney last October, I wanted to stop at Buc-ees in Georgia so we did. Then we saw there was another one in Calhoun and we stopped there too. Lol. The first one was packed so we had a less rushed visit the second time. Then we stopped in Calhoun on the way home too. 🤣 when you said you probably spent more than you should I felt that.

We / I made plans to go and made my husband go. It was so fun. Buc EE's. In GA was a hoot. The pulled pork was awesome. My husband had the brisket.
