Nicely done. My dad years ago gone now..loved hunting ducks and birds. He brought home and cleaned duck and wild birds. I have picture of hime holding a goose he shot. He's holding it with wings held length of his chest and arms. Love that photo. The best part is I remember eating it. A black chef in the late 40s cooked it with wild rice..best meal I ever remember eating. Best part is the restaurant was in a gambling casino in the Louisiana swam'ps. Dad worked there :)). Back in the day. He held me in his arms and I also remember pulling a slot machine handle :))

I would make duck as my Mom used to make it for the holidays. Yes, expensive, but so delicious. Fatty, and make a broth for dressing that's tasty 😋 especially making a large one. Then, I would bake it out and my children love it.

Well, well, well Chef Jeffrey, I suppose our discussion on what I have and have not eaten, inspired you to do this video on "Roasted Duck" Not Just For The Holidays!😆❤😏 As you would probably imagine, I have not tried this either!😆 By the way, your "sample plate" is my dinner plate portion size, with some type of vegetable, or a salad, and a smoothie drink on the side. Gotta say, your duck looks way easier to prepare than those who have made it on television. 😂.....even tastier too! We used to raise Muscovy Ducks. Some were Pets but the ones we used for meat we used to board on a Neighbor’s Farm so the kids would eat the meat💜💜💜
