I think the the neutral fret placement on that guitar, being at I believe the 7th vice 12th fret, is probably one of the most innovative ideas for multi scale guitars ever.
@austinyun2 жыл бұрын
I actually was like "wtf are you talking about" because most ones I see have fret 7 as the neutral. But then I looked again and a lot of fairly popular ones have 12th fret neutral. I honestly thought that died a long time ago but clearly I'm wrong. I used to have a Jackson DKAF8 and that has I think 9th fret neutral.

The anchors on the pick ups when you do the split coil let you know which ones are actually activated usually it’s kind of reversed Rob made sure when you do the coil split that it goes to those specifically

I think the black and brow look awesome on the back of the guitar. It is bold on the front but I'm sure over time the color will grow on people who originally don't like the black and brown on the front of the body.

Not my signature guitar so me saying anything of my own opinion is pretty irrelevant, but I would have wanted an all black finish because the body is nice and I agree, the fret dots should have been all the way up the board the way strandberg and abasi concepts have set on their instruments. At the end of the day it does the 8 string Chung Chung thing fine.

Really curious of the behind the scene part of this guitar since it's pretty much the same as when he was with Chapman
@fretboardrunner Жыл бұрын
Different enough though. New pickups (and wiring?) + multiscale are pretty big differentiators. Interesting they stuck with the design so closely though.
@Bast6 Жыл бұрын
@@fretboardrunner To be fair, the C-1 design was a Schecter thing before the Chapman (and I'm pretty sure on the Chapman the curves were a tiny bit larger). Anyways, it seems like a great guitar. (I must confess I prefered the natural ash look of the first iteration)
