You say the goal for a sex addict should be to have some kind of active sex life? Does that involve entering a committed relationship? What if due to your situation in life it is challenging to both be able to have and find someone willing to have one with you? It's also a question of priorities and values too. Whether you are willing to spend a big chunk of your time working on making a relationship thrive.

Wow, the first few minutes of this video where you describe what sex addiction is pretty much describes my husband I believe if he has sexual addiction but he doesn't. Like somebody who has a drug or alcohol addiction, how can you get somebody who very obviously has the sexual addiction to see what they have that? He has admitted a few times that he has a problem but he doesn't want to go as far as to say he has the addiction.

Denise Bond I had to catch mine in the act. Searched his phone - found a secret file full of porn. Computer, memory sticks& cards hidden around the house. He couldn’t deny it when I waved & screamed in his face.

Name it and stick with it. They often don’t want to admit it, to themselves, you or anyone else. Name it, call it what it is, and act accordingly, so you can stay safe. ❤️

Now the problem is hes still so passive he doesnt inittiate affection with me it is heartbraking to need love & afection from my husband who has desensitized himself replaces me with masterbation. Does not initiate affection with me when i express i wish hed initiate afection he gets mad yells blames says mean things & becomes more distant. When he does initiate its in a way that a man that is bored would behave

A sexless marriage is grounds for divorce. I usually don't agree with divorce but if you go months or years without sex that could be a reason to divorce. Especially if it's years without sex.

What do you do when your partner doesn’t want sex again I’m 62 a recovering sex addict which has harmed my marriage greatly Now we are in a situation where she doesn’t want to have sex again The other issue is I’m a Christian and know that masturbation is a sin So when I get excited how do I bring that desire down without committing sin I am on medication and it certainly takes the sting out but not completely

Greg Stickler it’s not the sex that’s important. You need to change your mind set that sex is intimacy. Intimacy and romance is.
