Aw, what a great memory, loffenberg16! Your Dad (and co-pilot) were wearing "many hats" when they flew into those "smaller markets" on private planes. They were cheerful and dedicated people who loved what they did. Having worked in the airline industry ("ground position") myself - back in the day - I saw many scenes like this. (Though not always with "celebrities.") Cheers to all!

Makes me proud to be a Utah graduate:) I spent many a long day and night in the Marriott Library slaving over my doctoral dissertation. Job well done posting this in its entirety. I do have to wonder though why he spent time campaigning in Utah, with all those big primaries looming on the horizon (starting with Indiana). I guess Utah had a party convention system back then and he was hoping to wrack up delegates during a brief stop-over.

Mya Hollandia, It was during Bobby’s Presidential run in March of 1968. They had 10 children at that time, and Ethel was either VERY early into her 11th pregnancy, or soon to be so. RFK was assassinated just 3 months after this was filmed, and Ethel delivered their baby daughter early the following December. Such a loss!
