I have yet to see the entirety of both Robocop movies, however as a kid I have distinct memories of a scene in the first Terminator movie with the robotic endoskeleton walking towards both the camera and the protagonists. Those kind of stop motion scenes (much like Cain's pursuit through hallways and elevator shafts) emulates the presence of approaching danger mixed with the uncanny valley effect of stop-motion animation.

0:49 "Could look bad for OCP." Mother of god, the satire in this movie was cranked to 11. Even after they just saw 100 people mowed down, my theater still laughed at that line.

Actually, that makes me wonder why the police don't have explosive weapons. The robbery at the gun store showed that a gun store owner can get a rocket launcher in detroit. Why didn't the dpd have access to explosive weapons?

@@ablackbunny3149 that's military-level weaponry. police officers do not carry weapons like that.

@@ablackbunny3149 in the movie, the cop is "owned" by ocp. Beside ocp have a vested interest in depopulating detroit. Something to do with their delta city real estate.
