What were the officials on about saying that Chaos 2 and S.M.I.D.S.Y. were immobilised at the same time? They weren’t! S.M.I.D.S.Y. was blatantly immobilised against the wall BEFORE Chaos 2 overturned itself, therefore the latter should’ve won right there. But oh well - it got S.M.I.D.S.Y. out of the arena eventually and the right robot won anyway. Also great to see Chaos 2 dispatch of Steel Avenger considering Chaos 2 won the Best Engineered Robot Award in Series 3, but then got overtaken by Steel Avenger which won it in Series 4. Also, speaking of Chaos 2, it’s rather fitting to see Ian Swann suggesting to keep Philippa Forrester if it won a third UK Championship, when this is the first time TV audiences saw her in that corset of hers. I mean… wow. Don’t get me wrong - it was something for viewers to get off on, but at the same time, was that attire appropriate around children?
