Of course, they translated the punchlines incorrectly, because political correctness does not allow using certain phrases, and they completely flattened the skit. "Clean out that double pipe, they're both black..." That's the punch line.

it can only be as old as the nineties, and back then the father already could enter to witness his childs birth, but we all remember the tales of the times when fathers were not allowed, I can only imagine how the nurses in Poland were like "protecting their ground, feeling superior on their field against us, small insignificant peasants"
@alh6255
@alh6255 2 ай бұрын
@@motorlife7037 At the beginning of the 1990s, more or less to 1993, fathers really rarely accompanied mothers at delivery (it was such a possibility in a few hospitals, e.g. in Warsaw only in 3), but from the mid -90s the "common birth" was already quite popular, and almost each hospital gave such a possibility, except for a few in the provinces. 30 years ago in some hospitals it was also already possible to choose a delivery in the bathtub (for an additional fee), a close person could accompany it.

About the son/daughter thing. In other Cabaret there was a joke (very real in my opinion): "When you have a son, you keep your eye on the son, but when you have a daughter you have to keep your eye on the whole neighborhood.". B-) As a bonus you can google for t-shirts "If you want to date my daughter".

This cabaret number is funny, but like all good sketches it makes you wander about the content. I know why the last bit fly over Rob's head, as England is multi culture country right now, and mixed marriages are a common thing right now, but in Poland you would not expect character's wife to be a black woman but rather you would suspect that she cheated on him with black dude. But actually students from Africa were learning on Polish universities since 1960's, and some people have stayed and married here. It was not common, but it was and is happening.

And back to the topic of the love of a child, I have really lost a lot since I had a child (friends, ex, sleep, time, relaxation, hobbies), but I have gained even more! really do! and I am so happy that I am a mother, would like to have three children :) ..but only a real mother will understand it, it's as if you separated a part of yourself... and this is your child... it's amazing... but I envy the fact that in England every woman has anesthesia on request, in Poland, unfortunately, there is backwardness, old communist staff, too few anesthesiologists... Im shocked that I survived childbirth at all, once I screamed so hard that the entire hospital staff ran to my room haha

Your choice, but I've met many people who traveled all over the world and spent their whole lives chasing money because they still didn't have enough money... and then they wished they had at least one child, but it was too late and they cried. ... well... I guess I won't have any more children, I have at least one and I thank God for Him, now he's a big boy (7 years old) and my synek helps me, not bothers me :)
@Evelyn_8888
@Evelyn_8888 2 ай бұрын
I believe that people should be the most important to us (first mother, father, then husband, wife, own child, son, daughter) and not money... we do not come into this world to live only for ourselves but for others .... I really know a married couple who said they've already seen everything, they have a nice house, they're doing well, and then they're left with such emptiness... such a senseless life... because they no longer have a goal... now they want a child, but it doesn't work out because they're too old. , she is being treated for depression. I don't know if you believe in life after death, but once you get there, you can visit everything you want, and it's even better because there you don't feel any physical inconveniences like here.

@@RobReacts1 I used to have a lot of pressure to explore the world, just like you do now... but since I read a lot of books about spirituality, a change has happened in me... now I know that we, as souls, have already visited the whole earth and all the places we wanted to be: )...the world is not unfair as we think that one is born ugly, stupid and sick and the other is born beautiful, smart and healthy....it's not like that...if it were so, none of this would matter sense... there has always been justice, it's reincarnation... have you ever had de ja vu? do you know what it is? that's the answer... so don't worry if you don't see everything in your physical body,i dont worry about it anymore
