@JaDav403 ай бұрын
A full month at #1 on the Country chart for this one in early 1995...and yes it did go to #60 on the pop chart as well. Some other good ones that crossed over are Sammy Kershaw's "Third Rate Romance" from 1994 and John Anderson's "Swingin'" from 1983. The latter was decently redone for a film about a decade ago but the original is better.

When I got my first truck, my mother already had me hauling stuff for her LITERALLY before it even rolled into the driveway for the first time... I didn't even have time to put the plates on it first... She was supposed to pick me up at work and give me a ride to get the truck... she got off work a couple hours before I did, and went furniture shopping before she picked me up, and had the store hold it all for me to pick it all up later... Took two trips...

My bud opened on tour for Mr. Diffe; pure class act. Got to dit and chat with him & his band for a little better than a hour.. When a guy of his stature in the music industry at that time can just be natural and laugh & joke with strangers; it shows much of his character. I met so many that couldn't be bothered talking with folks; play the gig and head for their motor coach or hotel... This was NOT Mr. Diffe's way. He loved his fans and the Crews that made those shows possible; and it truly showed.

I love this era of country music! It's what I grew up on and it brings back such great memories! Plus they're upbeat kinda silly songs you can help but sing along with! I'd suggest Mark Chesnutt "Bubba Shot the Jukebox", or "It Sure is Monday", or "Going Thru the Big D", or "All My Old Flames Have New Names" as another country artist from this era to look at. Sawyer Brown's "Some Girls Do", Clint Black's "Summers Comin'" and Diamond Rio's "Norma Jean Riley" are also some more upbeat 90's country you can't help but bob your head to and sing along
