So they had to reinvent themselves. Different band. I'll give them credit for realising that but it's not what I liked about metallica. What I liked was their NWOBHM roots and that was Burton. When they toured the UK and went to Glastonbury the entire metal community took that as a direct insult. Nobody into metal goes there, it's a pop festival..... Two things that make it quite clear this was not sped up: the clothes and the shadows. Awesome, wasn't sure if a cover of this would work but once again you pull it off quite well! Mad props to the violinist, not too often can you see a shredding violin! Also the trumpet player, I dig the reinforced lead pipe, similar to what Wynton Marsalis uses. I am a brass player myself (mostly French Horn or Mellophone these days, but also trumpet), I like it when you have brass in the band.

THRASH JAZZ!! 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘 Brilliantly performed by everyone. Well done! That couldn't have been easy to learn and adapt to this genre! 👋👋👋 On a side note, lyrically this song just turned from a "mafia kingpin" song to a "dominatrix" song for me in my head 😛

Honestly, I think that this is the best cover of Master of Puppets I’ve ever heard. Of course, when you have a sensational singer like Robyn Adele Anderson at the mic, that’s no surprise. And Earl Maneein’s violin solo was outstanding! 👍😮🤩🎻 I thought it sounded like how Kirk Hammett would play it if he was a violinist!

Thank you so much for sharing Robyn! Wow, Earl's solo was so fast it looked like he was playing 4x while all other time remained the same. Must be magic!
@bigmike-

Everybody was sped up in post. You can see it how their clothes move - I'm not sure why, but the video is clearly sped up for the solo. The solo would still have been impressive at regular "fast" playing tempo, so I'm not sure why they decided to speed up the footage in post. I feel that actually robs the performance of it's value, you know?

At first, I was quite skeptical. I mean, I've seen Robyn and her musicians doing amazing things but, Master of Puppets? Epic effort! Love it. I was hoping for more of the 6/8 part - about 16 bars more or so. You have some amazing musicians there. Love the violin work!!! - a big wow for the solo part! Engine room with the drums and stand up bass worked a treat! Yep, you did pretty good with your vocal work - love it. This is one of the best covers I have seen of this song. Just pump more of that part with the 6/8 section of the song.
