I can relate, the feeling. Bro like today and the past few days have been beautiful. A few weeks ago outside my work which is a Casino. I dug around in their rock bed and I found a beautiful Quartz Agate and the bands are all over and throughout it. I grab Banded Iron Formations and Agates. I can't wait for after work, simply. ☺️👑🌎🌹🛐✝️ I can't get enough. It helps with my Anxiety and PTSD. Seriously the best medicine is this right here.

@@Rookie_Rockounding , I just love to support you and your family Jesse. You are on of the few “ Influencers “ on the old Tube that I truly enjoy listening to and watching, as you do something that all we rock hounding folks love...which is finding the hidden gems that God has set in and on the earth for us to find and appreciate. It’s almost like a game of hide and seek looking for and finding these beauties. The sheer beauty of nature and the sound of water helps to calm our nerves during this tumultuous time in our history and I want to thank you for taking this old girl out for her nature walks again. It’s magical, in the true sense of the word. Your friend, Tizzy. ( and yes this is my childhood nickname given me by one of my brothers, dear Georgie, who lost his life at the young age of 18. I miss him so ). ☺️

Hey Jesse. Wow Bro. Things have changed for me. Don't know at this point if I'll ever be able to go rock hounding again. It started out with a painful ear infection last April. Then came the vertigo. Now I have trouble controlling my hands and walking more than a few feet with out help. Neurological testing hasn't produced any results yet but im hopeful. Could be a series of small strokes. Could be MS. So I hang out at home and work with the stones we Have here. Great to see you back out in the wild hunting those stones!! They're all so beautiful. Be safe and wish you well my friend. I'm developing a healthy love/hate relationship with all your damn creek adventures! SO many times you'll lift a stone that looks just like one I've found here in the desert, and I want to yell "Jesse! Look! I have one like that!" ...but I can't because I'm parched from scouring dry, dusty arroyos. What a blessed little corner you have to play in. Also, you let the spider go free but what about the little Caddis fly larvae at 00:24 and 4:11? HA! You bulldozer!
@Rookie_Rockounding4 жыл бұрын
Haha! Mate Mychael, I love your chats dude. I reckon a rockhound in the desert with you would be right up my ally dude! Ha! ITS A CADDIS FLY LARVAE! I never knew what they were!?!? I do my best man, those ones at 00:24 and 4:11 were released humanly back into their natural habitat by shaking the rock beneath the surface a few times. I hope so anyway. I always try but there has been the odd caddis larvae cadaver that has been found in the rock bag long after the hunt.😳😬😔🙏

Hello from the Idaho in the 🇺🇸. I always get excited when I see you've posted another video. You really found some nice ones! Hopefully you will cut some of them for us to see. Hope you and your family are doing well.

Oh Mlani I know the feeling with some of the channels I follow and I have to say, it’s honestly surreal that someone else feels that way with these posts. I’ll be cutting soon, just in the middle of moving house 😔 But I’m hoping the new place has as good a view as this one haha!

4:16, that ant 🐜 is all like, "awe he's after me home". Haha all running around. Beautiful, I have Carnelians and Carnelian Agates. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. 👑🌎 My question is, what minerals are Carnelians made up of??
@Rookie_Rockounding Жыл бұрын
Ohhhhh, i think mainly microcrystalline Quartz and the orange is from the presence of iron when they were forming. I think 😬☺️

Oh man, I definitely feel for you guys during the cold season. Our cold is legitimately just a balmy “chill” compared to the snow. I’m jealous of the melts though that refresh the rivers and creeks over there dude! Since I started recording the hunts, we haven’t had a rejuvenation of the creeks here. It only happens with big rains but we’ve been dry for sooooo long. 😳😬
