Neil was the first "celebrity" that died that really affected me. Was actually crying when I got home that night as if I actually knew him. GOAT of drumming, tremendous lyricist, great humble human being. RIP Professor!!!!

This is so sad. I love the music of the late 60s - 80s. What I would not give to have been able see them perform in their prime. I would love to time warp myself back to say 1982, 83, or 84, and attend one concert after another, giant hair, neon colored hose, tini miniskirt, enormous hoop earrings, and all. :)

Thanks, Scott. I was lucky enough to see RIOT once in concert. In fact, it was my first show, they were opening for BLACK SABBATH. I didn't even know that there was going to be an opening act. They were great, went out the next day looking for anything that I could buy from the record store and found 'Fire Down Under' 🤘

I met pete way when I was a roadie and backup drummer for rainbow he asked me to come work for u.f.o. so I said f it why not and went everywhere with them. Pete was a awesome person and guitarist I hadn't talked to him since 2015 , then I went to work for don dokken who is the nicest person I ever met. And that's how I met Eddie van Halen and that's a very cool story as well. R I p pete. I really need to write a book about being around metal bands in the 70,s and 80,s. I miss ronnie James dio the most. He treated everyone like family and never said a cross word to anyone unless he had to. I see these guys falling out and get so sad they are the real pioneers of rock and metal and I'm glad I was as close to them as I got to be

We're losing alot of our greats from the 70's. Bands my husband (a decade my senior) and my dad got me into. May they both rip. 🌹 I can't believe Peter and Paul (UFO) passed away just two months apart in the same year. Alot of blows to the music industry listed here. Eddie Van Halen's death crushed my soul. My husband I mentioned above..He looked just like Eddie. We'd get stopped by people asking for his autograph many times. 😜😂 Same facial bone structure, body size, height, eye's, down to his walk. Also hair, except my husband's hair was lighter... It was the cutest thing.

Great video tribute. My only suggestion would be to include the most current photo of the musician you can find as well and do a young and old comparison side by side pic before going onto the next person. It was neat seeing Neil Peart in his younger days. But I mostly know them from the mid 80s and on.
