Every decade or so it happens. Usually new words also get added to Webster . I still don't see how disgusting words like SHIT were and are used for describing nice things, places, actions.... I've watched YTrs react to Movie and TV shows and when a nice looking woman is walking across a street while 1 or 2 young men notice & continue to look until shes up on the curb . THE Reactors call him a creep. The men only looked. No words no whistles , not one stupid face. Many more harmless scenes are being described with serious accusation vocabulary , like stalker, abuser, ... on and on. Hopefully I'll live long enough to watch it all happen again. And see how future adults handle their growing children's reason & additude. As long as people keep trying to connect and understand . I think I'll call my parents!

BTW - Joe Frazier is one of the greatest heavyweight fighters of all time. He fought through the late 60's - 70's. He had two of the most classic and legendary fights of all time against Mohammad Ali. He won the first one, which was the first time Ali ever lost a fight. He later lost the title to George Foreman who lost it to Ali. Frazier then fought Ali in "The thriller in Manila" fight where he lost to Ali. While we appreciate the Rocky movies and they are great, let's not forget the actual champions that inspired these movies. We all know there is a lot of Ali in Apollo and the overall inspiration for "Rocky" came from a fight where a local unknown fighter gave a great showing in a novelty fight against Ali in '75. His name was Charles Wepner I believe. But he almost went the distance with Ali before being stopped.
@videovillagereactions Жыл бұрын

And I see someone knew much more detail about the wagging tail dog then I did in the comment below haha.

Burgess Meredith (Mickey Goldmill) was a very accomplished actor known for his role in the Rocky series, as well as the original Penguin in Batman: The Movie (1966) and the TV series. Some of his other well known works are Grandpa Gustafson in Grumpy Old Men, and two of my personal favorites, Ancient Elf in Santa Claus: The Movie and the voice of Golobulus in G.I. Joe: The Movie. 36:09 It was his real dog. He had sold the dog because he had run out of money prior to getting the funding to make the movie and tried to buy it back afterwards. The new owner asked for a crazy amount of money plus a part in the movie (he's the one who tells Rocky about the locker no longer being his). Stallone took the deal and the dog made it into the movie. 44:21 "Apollo, aheed of his time." Back in the day, just about everyone assumed he was doing an only slightly over-the-top version of Muhammed Ali's showmanship.

"You're gonna eat lightnin' and you're gonna crap thunder!" Fun Fact: Sylvester Stallone was inspired to write the screenplay after seeing the Chuck Wepner-Muhammad Ali fight on March 24, 1975, at the Richfield Coliseum in Richfield, Ohio, near Cleveland. The details of that fight is beyond the scope of this comment, but the Creed-Balboa fight parallels that fight in many ways. Making Lemonade Fact: In the film, the poster above the ring before Rocky fights Apollo shows Rocky wearing red shorts with a white stripe when he actually wears white shorts with a red stripe. This was an actual mistake made by the props department that they could not afford to rectify, so Sylvester Stallone came up with the idea for the scene where Rocky points out the mistake himself. The comment about Rocky's robe being too baggy came about the same way - the robe delivered to the set was far too baggy for Stallone, so rather than hope people wouldn't notice, the character himself simply points it out. Guerrilla Filmmaking Fact: Most of the scenes of Rocky jogging through Philadelphia were shot with no permits, no equipment, and no extras. The shot where he runs past the moored boat for example, the crew were simply driving by the docks, and John G. Avildsen saw the boat, and thought it would make a good visual, so he had Sylvester Stallone simply get out of the van and run along the quays, while Avildsen himself filmed from the side door. A similar story concerns the famous shot of Rocky jogging through the food market. As he runs, the stall keepers and the people on the sidewalks can clearly be seen looking at him in bemusement. While this works in the context of the film to suggest they're looking at Rocky, in reality, they had no idea why this man was running up and down the road being filmed from a van. During this scene, the famous shot where the stall owner throws Rocky an orange was completely improvised by the stall owner, who had no idea that a movie was being filmed and that he would be in it.

Great reaction! This is the first movie I saw in a theater, I was a kid when it came out. The crowd went nuts! What a great first time movie experience. Stallone admitted this was his masterpiece and he has been trying to equal it ever since, a Herculean task. To write and star in something as good as this as a first time lead is unbelievable. Many interesting facts about the his movie, but one is Paulie (Burt Young) was actually a good boxer, a Marine Crops champion, and Creed (Carl Weathers) played for the Oakland Raiders and then played football in Canada before stepping into the world of acting.
