Played this at my wedding back in March. Married my high school sweetheart after dating for 7 years. This will always be special in our hearts as long as we both shall live.

My husband and I met when I was 18 and him 25. He didn’t want to date me because of our age difference and My reputation as the sweet farmers daughter. He was always a wild at heart and never dated or settled. After a year he finally asked. When I hear stories of his past and from old friends, it’s not the man I know, the man I have children with, or the man I’ve come to love with all my heart. He had completely changed when we got together. I see nothing but the incredible hard working man I see everyday.

My husband has told me that for many years. He was a bit older than 18 and not a country boy, but the whole song struck such a chord with me. Brought tears actually, because you put the heavy metal boy's sentiment into this country girl's music. Thank you! Many of your songs echo things I've experienced. "When You're Going Thru Hell" was the first song of yours I heard and it came out when I felt I was at work. That was the first album I had bought in a long time. You, somehow, have your finger on the pulse of many of us.

I've been a life long fan of Rodney atkins. I loved every song that came out i remember singing I've been watching you as a toddler, still love to sing with his songs. I thought he'd never comeback since he faded out of music in the early 2010s but when I saw "caught up in the country" released it was pure nostalgia. I liked other artists as well but there songs weren't as heart felt to me as yours. Even now I'm 20 and been lost in a new world that covid kinda threws into I thought of the song if your going thru hell. Thanks Rodney for the songs, will be waiting for new ones.
