brazen187 thanks a million Brazen. It’s still far from perfect. Sigh. I am still so green. This was my 2 month date from starting lore. It will get ‘sharper’ I hope. But I doubt I can ever top the feel, or drama, as it is the most dramatic story in Warhammer. :). Some more introductions and lighter stuff soon. But I hope you stick with me. I think this style complements some of the more heavily detailed work done by more experienced and talented lore peddlers. :). I’m glad you are ok with pinning. I was a little concerned. Phew. :).

@Armadio Old Chickpea. I love his Phillipics. What a mind. What an orator. Thank you brother Armadio. :) :)
@Baldermort4 жыл бұрын
@Armadio OH do try his collected works. If you love the period they are simply magnificent. Old Cicero, a conundrum, I started my studies thinking he was a brave soul with little power to ending them knowing he was a goliath, but his phenomenal mind saw all of the myriad dangers and ended making him more a bowl of blancmange than a hero. Poor Sod. But a great orator. One of the best we have had as a race, they say. :)

Armadio it’s only for the real time buff. So do forgive me if you don’t like it. But I do love his speeches when taken in context. Magnificent. :).

He's the real reason the emperor is plugged into the golden throne...too good? I think not. Traitor khorne legion masquerading as loyal. All his heroics were thrown out the window when he accepted, for himself and his legion, the black rage khorne boone. This is why dorn lost his fighting will for what he truly witnessed. This is why kabhanda truly saved them at baal...

Some material is definitely marked as over 18 and I would ask that you be very aware of that when using your account to access the guides. 3. I would seriously request that you are cautious about videos with more extreme content even beyond the advice above - being chaos factions or dark eldar. I love how you highlighted the escapism of Warhammer and how we retreat for weeks, months and years into the lore. I dont love Warhammer because it encapsulates elements of real life I like, or rails against things I despise (although there are certainly many lessons in things like integrity, loyalty and hubris in the lore). I love it because it takes me away. Last year I told my therapist about how I had withdrawn from many elements in my life due to being overwhelmed, and then due to medication, either despairing or simply shutting down. I had reatreated into the world of the books. It seems mad to think I'd rather be standing on the Ultimate wall, laying into Death Guard with a powersword, or driving a Leman Russ full tilt as part of the Khan's charge towards the Lions gate spaceport - both endeavours that would almost certainly end in death. The reality was though I'd rather imagine such scenarios than face real life. I wasn't delusional or unhinged, and things are better now, but I still immerse myself in the world of 40k and The Heresy in a way that transcends mere enthusiasm. I've really come to treasure these narrative tales - different takes on lore I already know, or things I didn't. They help me get to sleep, then I get to wake up and listen fully so I can absorb every detail. Cheers, Baldermort. Ave Imperator.

A funny thought came to me this morning that explains to me why this video series works so well and you put so much of you into it when you tell it. I just realized that you share something in common with Rogal. You believe too just as much as he does. For this reason one can feel your faith in him, his story, his hopes which makes you sound like you are talking about a beloved member of your own family and makes this story sound so compelling. This hones your craft as you use it to tell this story with such inspiration and gives your words the power of honesty and true genuine hope. That is something so rare to witness nowadays yet so badly needed in our world. So who cares he´s not real, that´s not what´s important, what matters is the ideals for he which he stands for (courage, loyalty, sacrifice and hope) things which are very real though seldom celebrated. You believe in Rogal because we all know he truly believes in what he does for the emperor and imperium. For this reason not only do we believe in him also but we believe in you too. Good job mate!

This storytelling shows so much that is left out from normal lore channels, it adds something that most just can't, and it would take far to long to explain what is added

Baldermort...I have a request...your other videos have shown you have a very good grasp of the salamanders...so my hope for the next primarch you choose to do would be, none other then Vulkan. I understand if it may take a while...but not many youtubers get the salamanders the way you do. Thank you for reading this, and thank you for sharing the beautiful gift with the world. Vulkan Lives, and emperor bless the praetorian. -Inquistor Duncan

Baldermort, Ever a treat to come back to the first videos I watched from your channel after nearly a year apart from them. They give me examples of the strength of character I look for in literature, especially as I pursue a career in law enforcement. I eagerly await more releases on Rogal Dorne, Imperial Fists, and of course the Salamanders. Keep up the good work kind sir, and remember to take time for yourself to rest, quality over quantity, it will all add up over time to produce a vast quantity of quality.

I truly love how epic the part when Sanguinius and the Blood Angels arrive at Terra is. And then there's that part about him holding the Eternity Gate as well. It shows why Sanguinius is best primarch.

Damn you almost got a tear out of me there. I was close but held it in. OUTSTANDING work, I wish every man and woman living had as much passion for anything.

I know I am late to the party, but every moment in this Rogal Dorn video dedicated to Sanguinius reminds me so intensely why it is that I ally myself with the Imperium. Dorn and Sanguinius are truly the figures the Imperium needs most of all. I thank you for your MAGNIFICENT narration of such scenes, as it evokes such feelings that nearly bring me to tears.
