@Reece A to be fair the gender debate is grossly misunderstood. The debate isn't regarding biological makeup (in science: sex, colloquially: gender) but rather the specifying of the definition of gender to mean feminine or masculine (and the range in between). In basic gender is a descriptor which some people in 2010s started to embrace as an identity. Gender itself has no real meaning other than "type", its a cognate of the word genre and comes from Latin through French. Its a very vague term. Colloquially its used to mean "sex" Grammatically its used to describe case endings (typically associated with femininity, masculinity and in between, neuter) The debate is wether to recognize Gender to mean Identity or wether to let it remain a vague meaning. Regardless of your opinion on it it is incorrect to think that scientists who accept this definition are against science and biology

Male elephants go through a time of the year called musth. Ive also read camels go through it. During this they can produce up to 60 times their normal levels of testosterone, and it appears as if the elephant is sweating into its mouth, as musth causes then to leak a liquid from their heads. During this time they are EXTREMELY aggressive, turning in just about anything that they can see.

But they go every year, fly africans to the United States and put them in hotels or their own houses. There is a general assembly with at least 100 Africans at the church every year, it's crazy, awesome !

I love listening to Joe and his guests Extinction has been a particular fascination, we automatically try to stop extinction, I wonder if this is the correct thing to do in all cases. Ones in which have been affected by man also need to be considered. Man is part of nature. Just because we dominate, doesn’t make it unnatural, imagine if elephants dominated, we would live in a very different world, yet certain species would still need to become extinct to comply with Darwin’s theory right?

Joe managed to give me a new perspective on Conservation, I believe that specific species who are near extinct should of course be Conserved in a private area before being let out into the wild to repopulate but species that are having overly - successful conservation efforts should have a more specific regulation voer them. Not fully conserving but not fully allowing them to be hunted.

I'm from South Africa and contrary to popular believe, we don't actually ride elephants and giraffes. Cape Town is more like San Francisco than the Africa that is broadcast.

It always cracks me up when they get into conversations about things they know literally nothing about... lol. There is basically nothing they said about elephants or lions that is true. The lions that they euthanized were can raised lions. They were not wiping out any game population, they were raised for the sole purpose of being hunted. They are all in to poor condition to ever survive the wild. Rather than take on the expense of keeping lions that have no value they put them down. These are not wild lions... please have some clue what you’re saying. It’s hella frustrating when people spread a narrative that isn’t reality.

That’s exactly what they said 😂, maybe you should listen better. “It’s so crazy how we raise these animals to hunt them” is a quite

@@MrJp2323 nice 2 year comment dude. Watch the video yourself. Brian specifically is talking as is joe about wild lions decimating game populations to the point they had to euthanize 200 wild lions. There are not enough wild lions in all of Africa to impact game populations. The lions euthanized were canned lions that are bread for the sole purpose of hunting. When the dentist shot a wild lion that they baited off a game reserve it tanked the lion hunting business and resulted in mass euthanasia of canned lions. Educate yourself or don’t comment.

elephants can smell water from miles away, when there stuck in a drought ridden country, thats what drives them into farmland, if they had real watering holes and real forest like they used to they wouldn't be venturing onto farmland, and even if they did it would be a much more rare occurrence, not to mention if we want to share this planet with other species were going to have to deal with those consequences

And we do just like other animals do. You step into our land and fuck shit up ofc we gonna fight back. Just like the elephants do when we get to their territory. Who gets to say that elephants own Africa? We are animals fighting to survive and reproduce living on the planet just as much as they are.
