Beautiful song. Glad it brings you comfort, Danny Boy. Certain songs remind me of close friends/family who've passed also. Roger solo has a lot songs like this, even though Pete gets most of the credit (I'm a fan of Roger, Pete, and John's solo projects....not so much the one Keith album, lol). All the best

I know how you feel, this song tears my heart out every time I listen to it.And I'm sorry for your loss. But mostly I'm sorry that I find it very funny that a Guy with the name Danny Boy posts about a song he listens to in memorial.I don't doubt it's all true. Buy Danny Boy tears my heart out every time I hear it too!The Irony is just too much to pass up.PLAU (Peace Love and Understanding!)DPR

ROGER DALTRY does an AWESOME Version and it was released when Murray Head was performing as Jesus Christ, in the Andrew Lloyd Webber Play: "JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR", the Most Popular LIVE Production... MURRAY HEAD is an INCREDIBLE Songwriter and his version is SPECTACULAR Too! Murray Head was on A&M Records and this was his "Breakthrough Single". THIS Video is SO SPECIAL as the MUSICIANSHIP IS UNPARALLELED and it Sounds BEAUTIFUL and Natural Too! Thank You "LEO LIAR" for THIS... SO HARD to become "SPEECHLESS" but You SUCCEEDED! ❤ 😅

Daltrey had just turned 80 and was in magnificent form. I was also fortunate to see Roger's live solo concert at the Palladium a couple of years ago where he sang this wonderful song with a stellar band supporting him. Roger keeps threatening to quit live performing. If he does, the music world will be a much poorer place.

I am here because of "Snowpiercer," it introduced me to this song for the first time EVER two days ago, and it has been haunting my mind ever since, as the first thing in my head when I woke up the past two mornings. (*Just had to come and find it. Thank you KZbin*) And man, can Roger Daltrey SING HIS ASS OFF!!! What an absolutely fantastic song! And KUDOS to *Murray Head* for such beautiful words! 👏👏👏🙏

Terry Bozzio was known to play in his underwear as well. Watch Frank Zappa's "Baby Snakes" and he's prominently displayed.

Thank you for this. I am a life-long WHO fan and lover of their solo work too and this is a wonderful clip. Roger is an incredible vocalist and hero....and still sexy as hell!
