One of the best songs ever!! My brother in-law died April 23rd 2004. He loved The Who and Roger Daltrey. After he died this song was a real comfort to me:) his name was Joe. He's in Heaven now..11 years ago today..

I got hip to this song on a mix tape from brother who was in the Army! He was gone a lot and left this tape behind so it had Vanhalen the doors and this song by Rodger Daultry came on and thought it was the WHO and after some research I found out most of them helped out by playing for this track!!! After loosing my bro to cancer and cov I now see why he put that song on his mix tape!!! The resolve he had and determine smile!!! P.S. I have been playing drums since I was young playing with paper coat hangers on old bar stools listening to various artists and then one one day I was inspired by Keith Moon in a poster I bought and the many tapes and albums and cd's!!!!!!! I still play ! If you get in a rutt remember say it ain't so and the WHO WITH KEITH MOON DRIVING THE BAND!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS RODGER!!!!!!!!P.S. I do have a set of Premier Drums!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Who greatest rock band ever. Great Daltry song. Seen The Who in 77 in Detroit at 2500 seat Masonic Temple Best concert I've seen. Townsend slid across stage on his knees. This was the concert right before Cincinnati tragedy. They sold out 82,000 at the Silverdome next.

Daltrey had the most powerful voice, not in pitch or volume, but it was like a hammer blow to the emotions far and above all those heavy metal and rock vocalists who all followed The Who who were essentially the template for that whole genre of music anyway.

Thanks for the time and effort you put in to restoring and sharing this video with us. Saw The Who recently at the RAH for the Teenage Cancer Trust fund raiser. Daltrey had just turned 80 and was in magnificent form. I was also fortunate to see Roger's live solo concert at the Palladium a couple of years ago where he sang this wonderful song with a stellar band supporting him. Roger keeps threatening to quit live performing. If he does, the music world will be a much poorer place.
