Everything that they do help and it's very admirable that these dedicated their life for defending the opressed. Without trawling through all of Waters' remarks about the Russian invasion, I suspect he probably acknowledged the historical context, the West's provocations, and Putin's actual stated reasons for the invasion. Certain people seem to conflate an understanding of the reasons it happened with actual support for the invasion. You may be engaging in this type of simplistic thinking.

When I was younger I used to think the Wall was the best anti-fascist work of art ever, but I began to suspect some disingenuousness in it. Roger Waters later sort of confirms my suspicions. He clearly doesn't understand fascism of WWII simply by saying, as he does in this interview, that Gaza is a concentration camp. Really Roger? Like the ones that defined the term from WWII, most of the natiest forms found in Poland...like those? Or have you hijacked the term into some Watered down usage, pun intended. I can't believe that he says Gaza is a concentration camp and maintains a straight face. The average life span in Gaza is measured in decades; the average life span in say a place like Majdanek or Auschwitz; was on average measured in days - in a place like Belzec it was measured in minutes; 45 to be exact. Gaza is a concentration camp? I was watching some footage of the bombing in Gaza and I remember seeing a late model Mercedes crushed under some rubble; thinking, if it was mine I might have got in that and headed South and what a waste. The only people driving a Mercedes in Majdanek and Auschwitz were the SS, certainly not the Jews Roger. Gaza the concentration where you can drive a Merc........Gaza is a concentration camp? I don't think so Roger I'll tell you what places like Majdanek or Auschwitz didn't have, tunnels constructed out of concrete in which to escape, running water at all, no food, or clothing or personal possessions, heating or air conditioning, no cars, no privacy at all, because there were no apartments or houses in Majdanek or Auschwitz; no places of worship, no place of burial if you died from the daily gassings, bashings or torture. No hospitals, unless they were doing medical experiments on you - they had brothels, so there was plenty of rape. Yeah Roger, you f...wit, Gaza is a concentration camp, just like Majdanek or Auschwitz Yeah, beautiful mate...ok..

If the world cared about Gazan refugees, then they would already be relocated in Egypt and Europe. 6 million Ukrainians left Ukraine for Poland and elsewhere, but 2 million Gazans are forced by the Arab world to stay and die to try and win some war Arabs instigated.
