O.k., this one is what I've been hunting for, I've been on a keyboard hunt, not just anything, I'd made a temporary decision to purchase a Yamaha MOXF80, I didn't care for the tin like sound. I've always had a thing for a Roland.......whatever since I was a kid in the seventies late sixties, oh my gosh what more can I say about the Godiva of sound? Its purity and richness in sound is incomprehensibly incomparable!

Fab playing ! ,- I have a " Korg" pa / 4X ! But also a"Roland " old' ( VA-7 ) about 7 years old , - like the song " I'l never let you go" I'll keep till it (blows up ) -I love it so much ! . Mike , from ( Wales ' England) , the "800 is again ' fab , keyboards get better every day , ( Cheers .

The keyboard is very light weighted, kind of a thing between a piano and a synth. You´d better to test if you would like. I didn´t like. The best keybed I found was in Roland A90 and Roland FP8 pianos. They really feel like a real piano when we play.

Yes but do they have all of the sound modulation options of the RD-800?

CugnoTheSwiss No, they don´t have. Not you will get excellent pianos in the RD-800 as you compare them with Software pianos, like Synthogy Steinway American Ivory. VST instruments are incredible ! Nothing compares. I use keyboards only as a controller. After playing a VST piano, all electronic keyboards look like plastic sounds.

the piano keybed feels incredible, but for its asking price needs to be a little lower for in the sake price range there are synths that simply blow it away in features.
