Thank you so much Roland, I just recently started top water bass fishing with my husband about 3 months ago and we watch you faithfully. After watching this video I told my husband that I wanted to try this because I had been catching some but they were all small, no more than a pound and a half. So we went fishing with the frog and using your tips we were fishing in the heavy lily pads at Lake Rousseau and my golly I caught my personal best so far, 3.9 pounds. You are such an inspiration, thank you.

I've been a fan of Roland's from way back when he was 'top dog' in the bass fishing tournament trail ! Nobody seems to have the enduring excited energy that Roland has to this day ! Even in his 80's he's still that excited boy scout hanging a big bass !

Hey Roland... Nice dang fish. I really do wish you would have shown the frog landing and the retrieve so I could see where you are casting and how you are retrieving. I tried the frog yesterday for the first time and although I used it for about an hour I eventually lost it as it got caught up in the lilly pads... Had it on a 20 lb leader so it broke off,,, lazy and did not want to remove the leader.

I’ve been trying heavy mono vs just 14lb braid on a spinning frog setup. Braid sets hook 10 times better. The mono stretches too much and the fish just cough it up after 2 seconds. braid has no stretch at all and much longer casting. I hate braid, but it’s def my frog go to

Had a big warmouth strike a frog I was throwing the other day. Quickly flipped a crawdad about a foot behind the strike and got em. Georgia Giant brim will hit a frog too and confuse you. Frogs, jigs, and trick worms attract anything.

I can't get used to the braid but I have it on one rod..I love fluorocarbon and AN40 all by silver thread I hate the price but it's Worth the $ for the results 10 -12 lb test. I have to retie on big fish but the results are worth it where I fish. I'm a power finesse fisherman like a Roland Martin guy who has been my hero and mentor since I was a baby
