I hate when people fake service dogs just so they can bring their very obviously not trained dog into public. People DEPEND on those animals and if you make it so that they can 't have them or make it very difficult for businesses to run because your dog keeps peeing on the displays it really harmful! Also, people need to understand that ESA do not get the same treatments and rights as service animals. They don't have a right to enter businesses and the work office needs to approve of them to have them at work. ESA is basically a housing protection so that your landlord cannot turn away a person with an ESA legally.

@Just_Reading_Comments3 ай бұрын
That really depends where this is located. As someone who worked at, and managed, a couple gas stations in the U.S. gas spills are a pretty common occurrence, like almost daily. We never shut down for a gas spill, we just used cones to block off the area of the spill and then whoever was on shift would clean it up by covering it in what’s basically kitty litter and sweeping it up once it’s absorbed all the spilled gas. Usually the pavement around the pumps is pretty resistant to such spills as they are common and wouldn’t need replaced unless maybe the spill was left there for a long period without being cleaned up. It definitely wouldn’t be felony destruction, though it is violation of the clean streams law (in my area) and you can be fined and have charges brought by the DEP (Department of Environmental Protection), possibly a misdemeanor for theft (if they didn’t pay for the gas) or something like vandalism/malicious mischief. It’s still a stupid prank, extremely wasteful and just makes more work for the already busy, underpaid, employee

I’d imagine she’d discipline her kids (possibly too harshly) over something that wasn’t their fault- something that was probably her fault…

The best reddit post is the one where a woman's fiancé breaks up with her because the three children she had before she met him "refuse to change their DNA" to his so they are biologically his children after they are married. This guy really believed that was going to happen and gave the kids an ultimatum and was pissed when they didn't do it. His poor parents even had to get involved and try to teach him about genetics and DNA at the age of 30ish and he still didn't believe them.

What the hell? I remember reading a reddit post about a guy who was convinced for some reason that one of his kids wasn't his because he looked more like his mother. So he accused his wife of cheating and demanded a dna test. Like dude, kids have two parents and will get dna from both of them, not just yours. Of course this kid was his, and his wife left him for the lack of trust. And from what he wrote it also became obvious he had been treating this kid badly, he claimed he hadn't, but just the words he used made his attitude pretty clear.

My aunt was born blind. Never once has she used her disability to annoy or inconvenience strangers. Never once has she used her cane to hit things or people. It stays on the ground in front of her to make sure her path is clear so she doesn't trip. that's all. She only lifts it to collapse it when she doesn't need to use it. The fact that these kids pulling these "pranks" are using the cane as a tool for annoyance is the first clue that they are not actually blind, and that's disgusting.

The guy being blind prank was awful. There's a reason why it is illegal in Canada to use a while cane like that if you're not blind or have low vision. Couldn't even watch the whole thing, sickening to see as a disabled person myself who uses a different type of cane. Edit: There were two instances of this?! Absolutely unhinged. People using their huge abled privilege to cause service workers to be wary of actual disabled people who legitimately require accommodations.

All the people filming themselves doing crimes is ridiculous. There was a Texas man who filmed himself driving his motorcycle from Colorado Springs, Colorado to Denver, Colorado in 20min. That's about an hour drive usually, he was going way over the speed limit and weaving through traffic. He was arrested and took a plea deal, the best part is some of the articles use the word allegedly, it's like bro, he filmed himself, there's no allegedly there, he did it.

My first job was at a gas station, they have cat litter set aside for gas spills, so you have to layer the litter on, close that pump off until it's absorbed and then sweep it up. Otherwise the fumes and gas can ignite if someone in their car is smoking, or any spark hits it right. Also this is why I'm at least glad shows like Impractical Jokers, have to get permission from the business they're in, and inform the people of what's going on after, the only things shown are what was signed off on for consent forms.

In some places you don't actually have to be the father to be on the hook for child support. I lived in a state where any child that was born during the marriage, regardless of the parentage, would be the financial responsibility of the other parent. My ex and I had been separated for 7 years, literally no contact except for the state collected child support. While discussing finances with an aid worker he suggested I get pregnant again so my ex would have to pay more child support. Meanwhile, I'm thinking about how I can barely afford one child and he wants me to have another? Ridiculous.

Hi Roly and Jamie. Hope you both are well. Congrats on the new place Roly. Glad you've settled in well. I am registered blind with some remaining sight and deaf (bone anchored hearing aids). It p*sses me off when people intentionally fake/mimic disability whether through attention or mental issue (BID). I was born disabled , yet am independent 90% of the time. I go through education, job searching, travel (eventually), my own place etc. It frustrates me that people automatically assume that if you have a disability whether visible or invisible. Physical or mental : you are invalid and can never do stuff on our own or integrate into society with able bodied persons. We are no.different to anybody else , except we need extra help occasionally. 2nd, i use headphones whenever out in public like hospital/doctors , in taxi or planes etc. I can't hear what i am listening to unless it's on full volume: hence i use my headphones. I.can listen to what i am watching without bothering others around me. Lastly, only thing i post on socials like tiktok is my business reels displaying things i've made for my store: that's it. I hate tiktok, X so on. granted they are mainly centred around the younger gen (27). Anyway, i hope you both have a lovely weekend. Weather is still atrocious (my end anyway). Lol. 29:15 I've worked at a gas station before. You clean up spilled gas by tossing what is essentially kitty litter on it (I think that was actually what kitty litter was originally made for and then someone realized it worked great at absorbing cat pee). The kitty litter absorbs the gasoline and then once it sits there for a few minutes, then you can sweep it up and throw it away. But that much gasoline on the ground would use up all of that station's spill kit, and that guy better have paid for the fuel that he spilled. It's not free just because it didn't go into a vehicle. I'm surprised there isn't a staff member stepping out to yell at them I would be screaming what the f**.

As a disabled person I hate how some able bodied ppl love to portray disabled people as stupid/incapable. Those same people always question and hate disabled people for existing. Im not visibly disabled unless I use a wheelchair on a bad day.. but the switch in behavior society throws at you is shocking and pretty upsetting, first day using my wheelchair and someone purposely drove through a puddle to splash me, the accessibility to shops is absolutely shit and I almost got hit by a car because she tried to cut me off ( I had the right of way and was using the crosswalk when it signaled my turn) before I used a wheelchair and had dizzy/fainting spells people acted like I was faking, and treated me like shit for having being sick. People would joke behind my back or say things about the way i walk because they thought it was for attention. Even after being diagnosed im given unsolicited advice about how I should stop taking medication and pray to god, or that I must have done this to myself, for years doctors questioned my mental health and kept telling me i was imaging things. Im so sick and tired of watching everyday ppl treat disabled ppl like they are stupid,lazy,crazy, or undeserving of respect.

People are under the mistaken impression that stores are public land, and that wares are owned by nobody until they are purchased. Stores are in fact privately owned and leased, and the wares are owned by the store owner until purchased. So if you are not there to shop or browse, but to break things, you are trespassing, and destroying property. Store owners have to pay vendors for the wares whether they're sold or not, and breaking those things means you are breaking the law. inb4 some pants-on-head clown asks 'but what if I accidentally break something?" If you are shopping and you break something by accident, and there's reasonable cause to believe it's accidental, the store will often opt to cover the loss under insurance, but a lot of stores now have a 'you break it, you buy it' policy because it's getting harder to determine.

It’s freaking weird. We should be happy to see seniors just existing in spaces. It gives hope that if we make it that age that we won’t need a babysitter to go anywhere or risk some random kid pitying us.
