Funnily enough Zach was the one who had the biggest Masquerade breach. He "Hailed down a police car" and it was said it lit its lights, and it was confirmed this is modern day, this means the Dash-Cam was activated and police are required to record each interaction they have in the line of duty (voice recording on the officer). Additionally the guns in the back are held in lockup and each officer, daily has to register the weapon they are handed. Adding all of this together, the police officer will head back after his shift, he cant hand back a gun thats no longer there, he might just say "i sold it" and they would check his dash-cam and recordings of the day, see this guy hail him down and tell him "give me your gun and this never happened". If the Inquisition was truly following the GPS tracker, then they could see that in the general area before the tracker was flushed a cop was relieved of his gun through seemingly mind-control and they have a recording of the guys face.

@@LittleRedDot it would be up to mathas , you have no idea if the cop was legit , or crooked , let alone you dont know if he could have been a ghoul . plus if the cop was in a ghetto of a major city often some smaller departments may not have the funding for the best up to date equipment , therefore we dont know if he even had a dash cam or body camera . and lastly we know his service revolver is checked , but often enough the back up weapon in the trunk unless its used commonly it goes unchecked for weeks providing the individual officer cleaning and maintaining said weapon . so a breach is very unlikely , and at most with cover story given the cop involved would be either fired out right or atleast placed on leave and demoted .

There is the problem with player, character and gm knowlede. Player can know only so much, theier characters know more and less then their player and then there is the gm who is all known but is bound to his knowledge as a human. If something like this happens in a game of mine nd a player choses to do such a thing with me planning on using the dashcam orsomething else i would grant them a skillcheck if the charakter knows or not.

@@heinolauterbach4853 but there also is a level of common world knowledge.... as people (both the characters and the players) they more than likely know that cops have dash cams, so it's just an issue of whether they think about it or not...... if it's common knowledge, I always assume the character knows as much as the player, and if the player doesn't think about it, then the character didn't think about it.... that leads you to later reveal the evidence and the player going, "oh shit..... I knew that was a thing that existed and just completely forgot in that moment"

I've been sitting on that piece of information about her for a while just waiting for the right moment. Drawing the people she's killed is one of those things Dakota does to force The Beast to recognize what it's done. It seemed all too perfect in the moment not to give Ollie something. She feels so helpless and knows he does too.

I think the design idea behind stains. Is that while doing things still causes the same level of stains it gets harder to lose your remaining humanity. Someone who holds themselves as a saint can fall easily. Someone who is near a monster would take a special form of atrocity to sink lower

I love the moment when story logic colides with the fact that it is a game xD Camarilla is strict organization. And even for Sienna and Bella the rational calculation would be like: Okay, we have potential Inquisition on our hands pitched on a coterie of licks with Caitiff and Ava... Sooo we can final the three of them and keep Ava. She is useful tool/pet and if she survives she will forget in decades... But as a Storyteller you can't do that because those are players that you need to entertain xDDDD

Big ups to Mathas bringing Zack to heel, exposing his Caitiff status I think leveled him out. And EE def. Showed some restraint this episode, I think this is the first balanced episode among all the characters having a solid performance accross the board. As a suggestion, I think Dakota probably needs a reality check from the camarilla (dot is playing her great). This isn't the first time she's lost control and thrown the whole Coterie into danger with the sect. Good job dudes

@@LittleRedDot ​ I recall the time early in the series when Ava was punished by the Camarilla with branding which seems pretty severe considering you guys have done lol a worse as a group in later episodes. Im curious how Dakota would respond to similar corporal punishment. I feel as though their is most likely a reckoning coming similar to what Olie, and Ava experienced. I think Mathas has had kid gloves to an extent on just how deadly serious the Cam can be in regards to upholding the traditions, esp. in v5. Good job though Dot, you almost never break character. If I was in this Coterie omg lol it would have already come to blows between you and I and I say that with love!

I love this whole cast, they are fantastic. Zach's holier than though atitude does irritate the hell out of me, but his character is being played perfectly. My favorite thing is if Dakota had just stopped after smashing the guy everything could have easily been smoothed over. It's a rave club, drunken fights happen evernight, I 'm sure. The spiral did make for a great episode. Also, I so much hope the cop interaction comes back to bite Zach. He totally fucked an inocent patrolman over badly.

Mage was awesome. The campaign really brought the glass cannon personalities to life. Being powerful didn't erase the dangers of being mortal. And the rules were adapted very well.

And I don't mean that as a throwaway Line like "oh gosh darn it, Dakota is at it again." I have seen many Characters in Media that were defined by being "impulsive". That meant most of the time, that the Writer could insert a heroic and/or selfless act of said Character, when every other Character was too stunned or shocked to do something and besides that the Impulsiveness was ignored or played down as a Joke-Trait. In other Words, I have seen way too often, that this obvious flaw was treated as a good thing to have because it would allow you to be noble when anyone else wouldn't be. And I hate it. I hate these types of Characters. This is maybe the first time (besides Bakugou in My Hero Academia) that I see a fictional Character actually being impulsive. Acting before they think, thus making everything worse for everyone. Treating being Impulsive as an actual flaw, not just a Gimmick to whip out when you need to make a heroic sacrifice or as a Deus Ex Machina Trait. That's why I really like Dakota as a Character.

Very late to this but every episode thus far their problems come from Ava being an ass-kisser and failing miserably. She was branded for talking too much and keeps doing it. She literally told Dakota that she was glad to be called family one night then lies to them the other because she wants power and position. It's laughable that from all the cotorie warned her against, nothing ever sticks unless it's to rat to her sire and clan.

Well Ava was working at being such a good Camarilla childer until today, lying to your kindred mommy rather than admitting the truth and asking forgiveness. . Kind of surprised Ava didn't suggest when she got back that she has a feeling Zach could use to do something to prove to the Camarilla and Primogen he can be trusted after years of lying to them. . No its because you lied about not being catiff to your elders and adoptive sire, even though the Camarilla made your existence not a crime, meaning you were lying for personal gain of not being known as a catiff. . Your sort of a Camarilla coterie now, you should be hanging out at the Cam club. . We finally found somebody Dakota cares about. . This is a mortal, you've critically damaged it, its not waking up without help. . Your touchstone's trying to protect you and you pound their head into a table. . I feel like Ava should have tried to gaslight/frame the guy she fed on, since technically he was trying to assault her, and pick up the phone claiming he attacked the guy in the alley and was just an idiot calling the cops when his attempt to follow up a physical assault with sexual assault failed. . The way that night had gone I wouldn't put it against the officer immediately breaking the false memory when he's reminded he's never gambled a day in his life. . Technically I think the way this should go Ava, Olley, and Dakota are all in trouble for this. However Olley and Ava get the lighter punishment for their mistakes only occurring in cleaning up Dakota's mistake, let alone in Ava's case the victim was drunk enough the police could easily write it off, as a drunk idiot role playing, given he would also be recorded making happy sounds right after calling the police. On top of her punishment from the Camarilla Dakota also owes Olley and Ava a boon, for messing up so bad it drew them in. . How is Dakota not taking stains for severely damaging a touchstone? Ah remembered later. . Dakota is very unaware how much her age makes her stick out more when she does kindred stuff. . I just love seeing how many other people have the same issues I did with understanding how stains and remorse rolls work in V5.
