A thing about the Romanian Leu and the Bulgarian Lev is that the name comes from the Dutch thalers (Leeuwendaalder) that were circulating across Europe in the 17th century and they had a lion engraved on the back. Later, when the official currencies were adopted, they got named "lion" as it was equivalent for "money" in the popular dialect.

idk about other slavik language group. But like a Russian. We don't realy say "Da", we say it like "Aga", it's have the same meaning with "Da", but "aga" It's more regular used. Fun fact, when you hear "Da da da" from Russian it's mean what we arent realy believe you or we don't give a fuck

I live in switzerland and we also are getting less and less snow by the years. I remember the peaceful quiet when everything gets covered in massive amounts of snow right at christmas eve, great childhood memories 🥲 Now there is barely any snow, skiing tourism is dying, soil erosion and natural disasters are more frequent. But hey, at least number went up for a handful of huge companies, i guess 🙃

Oh Paws, Dacia(the car brad) is way more popular than you think abroad:))) In some cities in Netherlands , i saw more dacias than i saw in cluj for instance. And the whole danube delta can be classified as a swamp, if you dont wanna touch the areas around OLT river. As for snow, in the past few years we didnt have as much snow but we still have it in quite big quantities, depending on where you look. I am biased on that opinion since i live at the base of the carpathians so i always had snow.

I remember seeing a Picture of King Michael I from 1947 around the Time of His Forced Abdication and I showed my mom and she said "He's a Very Handsome man." No Joke, but in all seriousness, he did look very much like a Chad. Looking at the Wikipedia article on him, he Apparently died back in December 5th, 2017 at the Age of 96 when his Wife, Anne of Bourbon-Parma, died on August 1st, 2016 at the Age of 92. They had been married for 68 years with the Wedding taking place on June 20th, 1948 in Athens, Greece. They had 5 Daughters together, Crown Princess Margareta, Princess Elena, Princess Irina, Princess Sophie and Princess Maria. I can't go into the Rest of the Family Lineage onwards because it's almost 5 in the morning and I've got to get to bed. Idk how far it dates back, but snow hit hard in Constanta (coastal town) between 1990-2010ish. It peaked at -20C and you would have strong winds. But during the past 15-20 years it barely ever reached zero Celsius and snow is a rarity. Back then the snow piles were half as tall as my fence, and I dug tunnels in it.
