Ronnie Coleman is the perfect example of an unbreakable mindset when doing something that truthfully just sucks. If you can keep up the positive self talk and the “nothing to it but to do it attitude”, you will always find either a path to success or a path to contentment with how far you’ve come. Eating egg whites, grits, protein shakes and working full days of work + midnight cardio, yet he still says “It’s a good life” with a true smile on his face. It’s all about your mindset! EDIT: Contrary to popular belief, I am absolutely aware that Ronnie Coleman was on steroids. However, this is not the point I’m making. You don’t just take steroids and get huge without also spending countless hours in the gym. Steroids are more like a tool belt. They make you more capable of getting your work done, but you ultimately are responsible for swinging the hammer / lifting the weight.

You could train your whole life and do everything right, you'll never beat an Olympian sprinter If you don't have the gene. It's of course a combination of everything (just having the genetics doesn't mean you'll achieve greatness), just like simply focusing on training but with poor diet, or having great diet and training but poor sleep won't achieve much. One of the greatest of all time here showing us what he eats in his humble abode. In stark contrast to today's instragram bodybuilders showing off their megamansions while showing us their diet. This video sends an implied message: it doesn't matter how big your house is or how thick the marble benchtop in your kitchen is, it's not going to make *you* any bigger than you are. There is no substitute for hard work and discipline, they can't be bought.
