Ronnie Coleman, 8 X Mr Olympia, demonstrates the seated cable row. It's a fantastic exercise to hit more of the lower back. Always keep the upper body upright and avoid swinging.
Aim for 3 working sets. Start at 15 reps on lighter weight then decreasing to 10-12 reps as you increase the weight.
Coleman has won himself the title of Mr Olympia 8 times as well as multiple other competitions. All of these victories has turned his name into one of the most legendary in bodybuilding.

Some people do these the way he's doing them - with a little stretch at the bottom. Others say you shouldn't stretch and stay upright the whole movement. I don't think either is 100% right or wrong - I personally like a little stretch at the bottom to make it a more fluid movement. The important thing is to stay upright at the top and pull your arms back as far as possible.

+Captain Hook The most important part is to arch the chest out at the end to fully contrcat the back. Squeeeeeeze the shoulder blades together.

I like this guy doing the interview, shows respect and interest in a good way, not over the top, not being an asshole and interrupting. Good interviewer.

+BurnMyEyes0107 Yes. You need to stretch the lats and the rhomboids. Your back will not be hurt because you will using far lower weight than you lower back can pull.

I do my workout like this and some dude came up to me said I was doing it wrong and not supposed to have any movement.... But if Ronnie Coleman is doing it that way how''s it wrong?! Lol not only that but he put his hands on my back -_-
@Antiwasserstoff
@Antiwasserstoff 10 жыл бұрын
The movement Ronnie does is just for the stretch which is totally ok. Normally you shouldn't move, but having an extrastretch isn't a bad thing, so you can't say its wrong.. If your arms got movement, your back is contracting and you don't swing, you probably do it right
